"Dining at Puli Ra was a wonderful experience that we hope to repeat soon. We ordered four things off their menu- kid version of roti taco, Dan Dan Noodles, Boudin board and Chark board. The roti taco was just right for our son. Mild yet flavorful, and filled with generous amounts of roasted squash over the roti and egg. Dan Dan noodles do actually numb your tongue with all the sichuan peppers, so make that the last thing you eat. Deepa (chef Puli.Ra) warned us early about this. The Boudin board and Chark board were both delicious. Boudin board was slightly bitter, possibly from the crumbled sausage being lightly charred, but I enjoyed the composition nevertheless. The chark board was a really yummy platter of fish (drum) and rice. Both were well sized portions, and we had to take the Dan Dan Noodles to-go because we were so full. We sat inside Texas Keeper, and both bartenders made for wonderful company. Their dry Keeper #1, as well as off-dry Goldrush paired really well with our food. At the end of the night, after closing shop, Deepa joined us for a while as well, providing us with friendly conversation in addition to the food. It was a relaxing and delicious experience in all, and we hope to repeat it. Extra points for being kid friendly!"

What a delightful food truck! The menu features unique options that are incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the food was top-notch. Definitely a thumbs up! And that naan was fantastic!

Maybe I'm biased because of my hipster food preferences, but the food is dope. They source everything super local and everything is uber fresh. Seriously the spicy chicken masala is so good and it even had local garlic chives and fresh cabbage.

I ate a cheeseboard from this place a month ago and was blown away. But today... oh today... I had a Roti Taco with a fried egg and a turmeric aioli that I would happily drown in. And a sourdough pancake with a watermelon and lemongrass syrup that made that flapjack SING! Heaven on earth.

Puli-Ra has to be my favorite food truck in ALL of Austin. Incredible menu that changes daily/weekly, and I can truly say I have enjoyed every unique dish. From the ever-changing boudin and cheese boards, to the specials...I dream about this food! Texas Keepers and Puli-Ra are my weekend go to now, there is no better place to be. View menu

Oh. My. Gosh. Talk about amazing food. Showed up with a friend and let her order. Think we ended up with the Chark board, cheese board, roti taco, and the flan...NOTHING disappointed. Unexpected and delicious flavors, things I didn't even think I liked, I LOVED. So glad to discover this little gem. Delish. My recommendation? Just show up and ask what you should be eating, let the kitchen order for you and try something new. You won't regret it.

It's not a traditional set up. Indian food trailer on the grounds of a cidery cemetery in Manchaca, TX. But it's perfect. Delicious, authentic Indian cuisine paired with cider, not to mention friendly and courteous service. There are 5 entrees on the menu and every one is unique and creative. I regret not knowing her name but the owner works hard and cares about quality. Highly recommend you go to Texas Keeper Cidery with an empty stomach for the full experience!

I recently had one of the best dining experiences in Austin at Puli Ra. A group of friends and I enjoyed not only fantastic food but also a wonderful time. We tried the cheeseboard, Roti tacos, a special charcuterie board, and the custard—everything was incredible! The cheeseboard was perfectly crafted, with every flavor standing out, and it was surprisingly affordable for the quality. The special featured an outstanding rice made with beet vinegar, paired with some of the best fish I've ever tasted. The custard was rich and had so much depth that each bite was a new experience. Food that tries too hard! Just make good food that isn't too complicated or pretty fied. I just spent $30 for food that wasn't enjoyable. I love good simple food this isn't it. Roti taco not easy to eat, not good on a 100 degree day. And $5 for essentially a fried egg taco on Nan that wasn't pliable? Cheese plate probably 6 specs of cheese on hot as fire salsa with Nan cut into tiny strips ??? $15 and no value. Boudin platter on salsa on Nan again cut into tiny strips. I've also made it a habit to order the Roti tacos every time I go. The aioli and herbs are so flavorful yet light, making for a deliciously elevated comfort food experience. Deepa is incredibly thoughtful and intentional in her cooking, so make sure to ask her about her dishes. You'll enjoy wonderful conversations and gain a deeper appreciation for her vision for Puli Ra. She's truly a gem! I've seen some previous reviews and am honestly surprised by the criticisms.
