"Drove over an hour to go here because I heard they have biji jjigae (ground soybean stew), and it was so worth it! It was flavorful and so hearty a taste I’ve been craving for a while because no Korean restaurant in the Bay Area seems to have it! I was pleasantly surprised to see they even have mung bean pancakes! They were crispy and so good. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and feels spacious. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!"

Great place to satisfy your Korean food search! Have the stone beef bibimbap that came with extra spicy tofu stone, also divided soy garlic wings that were super crispy and tasteful. Your Kimchi is also A!

Authentic Korean restaurant, fresh ingredients and fresh Banchan; always. Kimchi pancake is really good! Came for the kimchi pancake from reading the nytimes article, left this place happy and super full. We will be back! View menu

Wow! I can’t express how much my family and I adore this place! It’s one of the best Korean restaurants we've been to. The bibimbap was fantastic, and the tofu soup was amazing as well! (Just so you know, we are vegetarians.)

Vegan tofu soup was better than expected! I got it spicy but it wasn't really that spicy. Could have gone for extra spicy. The mung bean pancakes were really good too. They remained crispy and not soggy even after cooling down.

I'm really glad this restaurant is in Berkeley. The food is authentically delicious. While it’s a bit on the expensive side, it's definitely worth it. The service is fantastic. Our server was extremely helpful and even took the time to show us how to enjoy the crispy rice. View menu

The bibimbap was bursting with flavor and accompanied by a variety of delightful sides, including an excellent hot tofu soup. It's also quite simple to find vegan and gluten-free options here. The service was great! However, one drawback is that the prices are somewhat steep. At $21 for the bibimbap served in a stone bowl, it feels a bit on the pricey side.

I had a disappointing experience here, despite the positive reviews on Google. The food was underwhelming; the seafood pancake was one of the worst I've ever tasted, and the soy milk soba lacked any flavor. The service was inconsistent—while the waiter was decent, the waitress was quite rude. Overall, the prices were high considering the poor food and service quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want to get your money's worth.
