"First impression of the hotel was a 4 out of 5 stars. Quickly declined from that point on. It's a 50 dollar fee (per night) for incidentals. Mostly all hotels I have stayed at have a 50 dollar incidental fee for the entire stay. We get to the room and the room smelled of someone previously smoking in it. Next I notice the wall paper ripping off the walls on every single wall. Opened up the window to see a big light up christmas tree laying there on the roof right in front of our window. What a nice view right. Plus the Room is designed more like a motel 6 room at that. Went to open the mini fridge and noticed for 1 there is no freezer and for 2 it wasn't cold AT ALL! Proceeded to pull it out of the cabinet they had it closed up in to see if it needed to be turned up and water spilled out all over the carpet. So I made my way down to the front desk and was told they would send someone to check it out. As I stood outside the door waiting for Someone to come check it out I watched staff trying to chase out a crackhead who was hissing and hollering at them. So Someone then made there way to check it out and said that they don't get that cold they are only intended for a 1 night use! We are staying for 4 nights! Made my way down to the front desk again and asked to be switched to another room and the lady at the front desk denied us another room instead proceeded to radio someone to get a fridge from a different room! I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I stay out of town for work EVERY WEEK! MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY! How do the expect me to keep my food that I brought cold!? They could care less."

I drove up the day before a job interview, I was tired and hungry when I got to the hotel. I was allowed to check in early to clean up before restaurant opened. Had a nice meal and a good night's sleep. Great value for the price.

Hotel is really dated. In need of major renovation. Lobby and halls look ok. The room is terribly old and worn out. The worst part was the smell of the room. Absolutely old, musty and almost smelled like urine. Thankfully just needed a quick stop over on a road trip. Very disappointing!!!

Do NOT stay here if you have any other option. You won't sleep with all the beeps. The airport is loud as hell. Constant beeping from trucks backing up. The room had a motion sensor light that lit up the whole room and wakes everyone up if you move just a little bit. Horrible. Would give 0 stars if an option.Rooms: 1/5

Woke up early to a private jet landing at the airport next door. Went down to get breakfast but realized that there is no free breakfast here. Then decided to take a deep in the hot tub, but it didn't open until 9am. The room was clean but the wall was ripped and the furniture had wads paper tucked under it. But sure after spending nearly $200 for a night that I would return. View menu

I've stayed here before and it was great. Today, I checked online and saw that there were rooms available, so I walked in to inquire. A tall, light-skinned Hispanic woman looked me up and down while I was in my work clothes and told me that they probably didn't have any rooms available. She checked the computer and mentioned that they might have a pet-friendly room on the first floor. Unfortunately, I have severe allergies to fur. It felt like my money wasn’t valued as much because of how I was dressed for work.

Wow! This hotel is impressive in size. Each area has its own unique layout. Some rooms come with balconies, others are located along the standard hallways (which I prefer), and some have external entrance doors. The hallways, stairs, and elevators are all very nice. My room and the bathroom appeared clean, and I was pleased to find wonderfully fragrant shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion in generous dispensers. For improvement, I believe they should update the wallpaper in the bathroom, as well as the paint on the bathroom cabinets and door.

While the room was comfy, there was not even a piece of toast for a breakfast. The breakfast is very expensive, we went to the McDonald’s down the street. The pool was so cold that it was not useable. When we checked in we were told there would not be any water until after 5pm. Very inconvenient, as we had a family gathering to attend for a funeral. As large as Raddison is you would think that they could have some sort of breakfast. Not sure we would stay again. We will go to the Best Western down the street, the rooms are as nice , and. Free, hot, breakfast. View menu

The rooms are well appointed, but the mattress needs replacing. Walls are pretty thin due to hearing doors slamming. People upstairs with lead feet and outside car noises. It’s adequate but I’m cutting our trip short due to room issues. Wish it was up to other Marriott standards. No restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good. I would stay at the IHG down the street next time. Couldn’t stay there this time due to my husband being disabled and no nicer rooms not only not accessibility but booked. 1 out of 90 rooms with only 1 double bed room accessible. Super depressing. Front staff was nice and tried to accommodate us the best they could.

I then contacted the 800 number for Choice Hotels, the parent company, and endured a frustrating experience of being passed around between representatives. I couldn’t find a resolution, got disconnected multiple times, and spent most of my time speaking with agents whose first language isn’t English, likely based outside the US, and who seemed to have no authority to assist me beyond logging my complaint. I also initiated a dispute for the charge with Wells Fargo, my bank, but they can only help if Radisson Santa Maria responds to their inquiries, which so far has not happened. Overall, this hotel feels outdated and poorly managed; paying for a stay here once is questionable enough, but bei...
