This restaurant used to be great, but it’s not good at all now. The food was poorly prepared, and when I requested extra sauce for my chicken because it was dry, they brought out a sauce that wasn’t good. They didn't even offer to remake the dish. View menu

We finished our ramen noodles just minutes after they arrived because they were absolutely delicious! My husband opted for the spicy ramen, while I chose the black garlic ramen. Their staff is friendly. That is the only good thing I have to say. My mother ordered a cut of salmon over rice and both her and my kid got food poisoning. Their prices do not reflect quality ingredients. The Ramen is Top Ramen noodles not real Ramen noodles. The salmon is a cut of bag frozen from the food lion behind it. However, I might have visited on an off day, as the pork belly in the ramen was a bit tough. Many ramen places serve pork that melts in your mouth, but this piece just wouldn’t budge no matter how much I chewed. As I mentioned, it could have been a rare lapse. Also, for those who like to add chili oil to their dishes, I felt theirs could improve; it's just oil without any chili flakes or garlic mixed in. Overall, this place is fantastic, and I will definitely return in the future!

I visited this restaurant with my friends, and while the food looked appealing, it turned out to be quite disappointing and had an odd taste. It didn't feel fresh at all. Additionally, the service was highly unprofessional. When I encountered an issue with my meal and decided not to eat it, I requested a refund or an alternative dish. The server claimed she would get the manager but then said there was no one available to assist us. To make matters worse, she demanded an 18% tip despite the unresolved issue, and then she chatted with another table, mentioning calling the police even though there was no aggressive behavior at all. Loved my experience here!! I live 40 minutes away in Greensboro but have been dying to try Raku since they first opened after hearing so many wonderful things. It took me a while to get around to going, but was so worth it!! It was absolutely delicious. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, you could tell that it was fresh! The place was clean, and our server was wonderful! Would 100% drive the 40 minutes again, and more often, to have lunch/dinner here at Raku. Parking: They have a large parking lot there for the restaurant specifically! It was pretty packed but there were still some spots open when we got there.
