"I can hardly believe this place is still in operation! There's no service at the tables, and you have to stand in line to order, only to watch two unproductive bartenders idly doing nothing. After waiting in line for ten minutes, I finally asked if they were serving, only to receive a rude response from an incompetent bartender who informed me that they couldn't take orders due to a lack of kitchen staff. I had to relay this information to the other poor customers who had also been waiting for ten minutes. As I was leaving, the same bartender felt the need to express her frustration toward me with some choice words. I hope she feels victorious after hurling insults at me. If this pub wants to improve, the first step should be to replace the staff, followed by hiring competent employees. Just to note, I was trying to spend money there on September 11th at 7 PM."

The bartender Jessica makes this place. She is outgoing, speedy, and a great bartender. She is great. The beer selection is great. The corned beef quesadilla is amazing as well as the Reuben. If your at Chicago Midway and have time for a drink , this is the place to stop.

As my wife just said, “this place is a dump” I was born and raised in Ireland and this is not an Irish pub. The prices are a ripoff: $22 for a cocktail and $17 for a glass of wine. The food is just OK, but it is served in cardboard boxes! There are better places to eat while waiting for your connection. You have been warned!

The food is good, we had a tasty Irish quesadilla but it's extremely expensive for what you get and served on disposable dishware. We didn't even consider drinks because the bar menu started at like $18 for a mixed drink and it's an airport, most people are only stuck there because of a layover so they should be offering varied options in price and availability.

Horribly rude bartenders. Dressed me down for daring to ask to split the alcohol on my check. Proceeded to make a huge scene about it. Required management to split the check and the manager didn't even talk to me after they made a big scene. Clearly don't care for their customers as more will come through the airport. Don't bother stopping here. Very limited food menu anyway. View menu

Ok place but very understaffed and poor service as a result... fine drink but never got my food order and the one server never heard me (even though I waited until they weren't busy). Also NEVER got to put in another drink order at the bar... Would love to come back and see better treatment of the employee(s) but would NOT RECOMMEND if the same staffing issue and same server is present

Terrible service. Bartender went around taking people’s drink orders and told us we have to go to the bar to order. Bartender continued to serve others as I waited in line. Ordered 2 Paloma’s for $51. Did not tip the bartender because of her terrible service, she proceeded to look at the receipt and sarcastically say “thank you” for not tipping. At that moment, I was happy I made that decision. A $25 Paloma should not come out of a can.

The service at this restaurant was disappointing. The staff seemed unaware of how to print a receipt. I ordered a breakfast platter to eat in, but it arrived in a takeout box with all the items mixed together. I understand it could have been better, but it felt like they didn't care since we were just passing through the airport, as if we had no other options. This experience really ruined my time in Chicago, which seemed to reflect the city’s overall decline. Boston has now become my favorite city. View menu

I wouldn't recommend this place; it's way too expensive. I paid $29 for a glass of average prosecco, and that was just a standard pour. The breakfast was decent but came in a box, which felt a bit strange as I had to cut my food while balancing over flaps. The staff were fine, but the service was slow. When I asked about the price of the prosecco again, they started complaining about how high their prices are. I wasn't trying to complain myself, so it was awkward to hear them venting. Overall, it came across as quite insincere.

My wife and I have been to this airport many times. Compared to other major airports, restaurants at this airport, in general, seem to be more expensive for the food you get. We ate at theConcourse A restaurant. Ordered a Reuben sandwich, and a bowl of chili. Ruben was good, but not as good as one would get at a real deli. Chili was above average. Some of the other patrons thought the beer was great and another said that her fish and chips were very good. We did not have to wait long for our food and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
