"Excellent lunch and small town friendliness. Brought a Key Lime Pie home and it ranked with those from Key West, Boca Grande and Captiva Island. Drove an extra to revisit in Fall after last Summers yummy lunch. And it was worth the drive. Had the famous Broasted Chicken which has a crispy, crunchy well seasoned exterior with juicy chicken at each bite. Instead of taking home a pie, ate their Peanut Butter Explosion cake and Caramel Apple Pie with ice cream. Both were fantastic..see the pictures for a view. Vegetarian options: Good sandwich, salads, and veggies"

"My family and I stopped in on our way home from vacation. My husband has been wanting to stop in for several years, and we finally made the stop. I have 3 children under 4 and your staff was amazing. There are some places that when you walk in with young children, you see that they are already bothered. Your staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I truly enjoyed my experience here and look forward to coming back again. Thank you for having such a warm, family friendly restaurant where moms can enjoy eating their delicious food as well as the kids."

"Food was good tasted good but hot and sour soup had a good flavor but was very sparse on ingredients tofu was chopped in a fine dice and was little none in it also it only had about 8 piece of very small and I mean small cut up mushroom in it and last bit not least the egg steamer that I personal love about hot and sour soup was almost non-existent pepper steak was good but more onion few peppers and not a lot of steak but for 16 for the pepp. Stk and like 7 bucks for the H@S soup I expect it more flavor was good on both but I think what's happening here is what's happening a lot of places they either have to cut the amount of ingredients they put in or raise prices personally I would rather they hold on to the integrity of their dishes and simply raise the price I'd rather have to pay a little bit more and get something that is what I expect overall good restaurant nice people food was good just was surprised about as few ingredients that was in it considering the price I do recommend them if you're there go check them out form your own opinion"

"Was up in Thurmont for a little business and needed lunch. Pulled into Bollinger's, walked in, very homey relaxed atmosphere. Menu has so many options everyone will find something to enjoy. Specials this day included chicken livers, and oysters both with sides for a complete meal. I decided on a burger, the J.B. (picture below) which came with the BBQ sauce, and I chose side of fries. The BBQ sauce was so good on the burger I asked the server for a small cup of sauce to dip the fries in. Speaking of which the fries were perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. The burger, ordered as medium rare, was served perfectly medium rare. Given the burger is smushed thin, to cook it so perfectly takes real skill, kudos to the cooks! Menu included any number of beverages, including a good selection of craft beer. I tell ya, next time I am in town, I will eat here again and need to get a bottle of that Uncle Dirty's Barbecue sauce to take home. (Note the branding in the bun)"

"We frequently eat at this restaurant, it being my father's newfound go-to with authentic Italian dishes, however, despite him having an issue with a takeout order and the owner going back and forth with him claiming he prepared the order himself when it was incorrect according to his receipt( and literally in front of his face with him finally offering a 10% discount on the bill). We've had no problems until my father's birthday. We dined in, and although it was semi-busy and only one waitress working and one bus girl, the waitress forgot the extra dressing for my fathers and grandfather's salads that came with their meal, I had to go up front and ask for it myself, my brother never received his place setting, after asking 3 times. The soup was minestrone not vegetable as requested, and wasn't brought out with the salad, it was brought out shortly after the entrees. We're very much go-with-the-flow, understanding people but ma'am upon walking into the restaurant I spoke with you our waitress about it being my father's birthday and dessert with a candle which I had brought just in case, my grandfather did, and then after finishing our meals and awkward looks and asking you again, we received the check, still waited, and waited while you refused to make eye contact, and then gave up and left. You ruined that part of his day, it be okay being a tradition in our family that a candle and wish being made on your birthday is a must. Thanks for that. I attempted to speak to the lady up front and I received an eye roll and instructions on how to pay with a card which Isn't rocket science. I left it alone and tried calling a little later in the evening the first call the phone just rang, the next two I was put on hold for 20+ minutes and then hung up on.
