"Our waiter had a quirky personality. He arrived as soon as we sat down and immediately asked for our drink orders before we had a chance to look at the drink menu. Some of us ordered drinks right away, while others had to wait a while for him to return. The same went for the appetizers and entrées; it was a bit offbeat. When we requested to split the check among couples, he said, “I’ll take care of that at the end.” He seemed to struggle with the iPad he was using to take our order, wasting time making excuses instead of just writing down what we wanted and sorting it out later. He did eventually split the bill at the end, but it took several minutes as he asked and confirmed who ordered what. While we were still waiting for our desserts, he brought us the check, which was another quirky moment. As for the food, it was average—okay, but nothing special. For an appetizer, I had the veggie crispy rolls, which were quite greasy. For my main course, I opted for the Krapow fried rice; it had good flavor but was extremely oily. The spice level was just right, and they did ask what level of heat we wanted, which is always a plus at a Thai restaurant. Others at the table ordered various dishes as well, and again, they were decent but not remarkable. My wife had the Thai fried rice, which was flavorful but also quite greasy. We ordered desserts, and I chose green tea ice cream, which came topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry. I was just looking for a simple scoop of ice cream, not a kid’s sundae. The ice cream itself was bland, lacking the strong green tea flavor I expected. Another couple ordered sticky rice with mango, which they seemed to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant wasn’t terrible, but it wouldn’t make my regular list of places to dine. Would I return? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Only if there aren’t any other Thai restaurants nearby."
