Service was fast! I was getting off work from a 9am-11:30pm day (band night) And forgot to eat! They were super kind and made me a turkey sandwich

Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. A few locals even bought me and my GF a few drinks, great place with a lot of friendly people. Definitely somewhere I would return to.

Menu has changed as the owners, as this menu has been published. Restaurant was rebuilt. It's much cleaner that used to be, but the atmosphere is gone. The food is too terrible on average.

Fun bar with large local flair. Clean, well lit, staff was friendly and helpful. Only had a beer and a sprite, so got no chance to really experience the whole bar. Looks like a great place to get a pint with friends! View menu

The best bar in town. Large selection, although they apply they have protection, but not: Amazing customer service and very good food. Pet friendly, this is a huge plus. Pool table in the back. Slot machines and more. Very high quality bar.

The new owners did a great job here. Food and service were both excellent. Had fish tacos, onion rings and a creamsicle to drink. They even brought a bowl of water for my dog. The presentation was beautiful and perfectly cooked!! Will definitely be back

I gave there 5 starts only so people see it!!!!!!! We order bugs that took 20-30 minutes to get our food. We were the only ones back then. After dinner it was not completely cooked. the sever took waste from the ground and then tried to help us without washing their hands. View menu

the tacos are so amazingly good! this is such a perfect place right on the beach. if you're looking for a place you could take Jimmy Buffet and make him smile, go here. They have a juke box connected to the internet for endless beach tunes. the happy hour Tacos are so good. so were the mozzarella sticks and burgers. it's reasonable. the staff is friendly and professional. if you are looking for overpriced food, chromium and glass, and sniffy staff do not go here, just go to the other 100 places and leave this beautiful place for people with sand on their feet. I love this place. It's just what I wished existed. did I mention how good the tacos are?

"I wish I could leave Negative stars. The manager was extremely, extremely rude. I feel that I was targeted by this manager as if I randomly did something to him in a past life or my skin color. Came in with a 4 ounce hotel coffee in my hand and the manager told me I couldn't have outside coffee in there due to the county and the health code I said ok no problem I'll drink this outside Then seconds later I was helping my 80 year old grandparents walk up the steps prior to drinking my coffee and he got in my face telling me to dump my coffee. Again I said no problem but I need to help my family really quick . I then proceeded to go outside and dump my one gulp of coffee. After I came back inside I sat down next to a couple that had been drinking 2 venti Starbucks coffees. After they left I asked the manager that came up to me why they were allowed to have coffee but not me? He said oh they dumped theirs. I then said huh ? That doesn't make any sense that I'm not allowed to have coffee in here and those people just did. He then proceeded to tell me how they just had a fine from the health department for someone else bringing in a coffee. I said I've never heard of that and he said it's their county and that it's very strict. He then said the risk was that someone could come in with their coffee and get sick and blame the restaurant. Jeez Man stop lying! I checked you restaurant in the health department and you've had 3 fines but not for someone bringing in a coffee. Fine 1: ready eat potatoes not labeled properly. Fine 2: selling salsa in non certified containers. Fine 3: cooking thermometer broken or missing. We will never be back!!!"

"Decided to try dinner here during a recent stay in Newport, partly because it was within walking distance from the hotel and partly because the online menu looked appealing. It turned out to be an excellent choice! It was kind of crowded despite being fairly early in the evening, but we got seated in the quieter bar area and service was still prompt. Steamer clams are a must for me whenever I'm on the coast, so we ordered those and then decided on the fish tacos and the Newport Catch, both of which were made from the catch of the day brought in by a particular fishing boat. And both were absolutely phenomenal. My fish was so flaky it wouldn't even stay on my fork. The combination of flavors in both dishes was outstanding. The server was even kind enough to go back to the kitchen and get some more info on the baja sauce when we inquired about it; I'm gonna have to try to make some next time I have fish tacos at home. We also went ahead and ordered dessert, which we RARELY do at restaurants, and they were kind enough to pack it up in to-go containers for us to take back to the hotel. Hello chocolate lava cake with Tillamook vanilla ice cream. Oh, that's the other thing; so much of what this restaurant offers is locally sourced, and there's actually a big board by the front door showing all of their community and regional partners and suppliers, which I thought was really cool.I will definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in Newport."
