"We made the journey to Sandford for a unique lunch and were excited to try Shantell's Just Until. The food was good, and the presentation was excellent. The Shantell was an off menu mixed drink... Amazing!! I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The grits were a little bland but not bad. I took a bite of the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and yams; all very delicious . We had the peach cobbler pound cake for dessert. The peach compote was very tasty but the cake tasted like it had been in a fridge for a bit. The atmosphere was very inviting and very clean. Our waitress was very nice and the service was quick. The overall experience is definitely worth another visit and we can't wait to go back."

First time here, had the Chicken Waffles, and it was delicious, all that I hoped for. The skin was crispy, and the meat was juicy even/especially the large breast piece. Nice easy vibe here too. :

The Jerk chicken was tasty, but the edges of my cornbread felt a bit stale. The rice was decent, but it needed to be paired with the chicken. Overall, while the meal was good, I don’t think it was worth the price tag of over twenty dollars.

Shantell's is fantastic! I've been a fan of her food for a couple of years now. If something isn't quite right, she makes sure to take care of her customers and resolve any issues. The service was excellent our waiter Alex was a great server being only his second day on the the job. The food was on point seasoned perfectly and the dessert are to die for but the icing on the cake was meeting Mrs.Shantell, this ladies vibe and energy was so real I will definitely be returning with some family and friends in tow. #SupportBlackOwned

I found this spot while on a motorcycle ride to the Sanford area. This place is awesome and the best part is the restaurant proprietor is a fellow motorcyclist. The food was fresh and tasted home made. I chose the fried fish strips, cal lard greens, mac&cheese and rice with blackeyed peas. The portions were perfect and in step with the price. Overall I felt the value was perfectly balanced with the food, presentation and taste. I will be back. It was well worth the 100+ mile ride.

I had a wonderful experience at Shantell's. The service was excellent, and Shantell herself was very friendly and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my cornbread and waving, paired with their signature peach tea—it was delightful! My friend ordered the pancake breakfast, and her pancakes were equally delicious. I was excited to try this place given the reviews so I ordered 2 pieces of fried tilapia with 2 sides- yellow rice and green beans. I really did not like the food. The fish was barely seasoned. The rice had 0 flavor (no exaggeration) and the green beans were OK. I’m used to southern food having lots of flavor and this just wasn’t it. I’m giving two stars because the food was not good at all. The fish was fried nicely though. The service was good too even though I got take out. I’d like to give this place another try but I don’t recommend getting anything I ordered today.

After hearing about this restaurant on Primetime Kitchen and from Jim Colbert, I decided to check it out last night when I noticed it was right across the street from the wine shop we were visiting. As a big fan of great food, I couldn't resist trying the grits along with the jerk shrimp. It was a perfect combination! The grits had a beautiful, unique flavor with coconut milk; they were smooth and savory without being clumpy. The jerk shrimp was seasoned to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and loved sitting outside on a Friday night, soaking up the lively atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
