"The restaurant features a large raw bar and a regular bar, along with ample traditional seating both indoors and outdoors. After we were seated, we were promptly greeted and informed about the specials while our drink orders were taken. This was my first time trying 512 Brewery, and I have to say it has quickly become one of my favorites! We began our meal with salads—the Caesar and the Blue Cheese Wedge—both of which were excellent. We also enjoy peel-and-eat shrimp, so when we find a place that serves it, we can't resist trying it. They advertise their shrimp as Gulf shrimp, and having moved to Austin, we've tasted fresh Gulf shrimp before, which is some of the best out there! While the shrimp was good, it didn't quite match the freshness of some we've had from vendors who bring it straight from the Gulf. The shrimp served here were quite large, more akin to what you'd find in a shrimp cocktail rather than the typical peel-and-eat variety. Typically, when I've had peel-and-eat shrimp elsewhere, it’s served in a pound size of 16/20 or 11/15. I'm not sure if we got a full pound as it isn't specified on the menu, and we didn't ask, but again, they were the size you'd expect in a jumbo shrimp cocktail. The dish came with a cocktail sauce that had a unique flavor—spicy, yes, but there was an undertone we didn't particularly enjoy. While we managed to eat it, a straightforward cocktail sauce with a side of horseradish would have been preferable. They do cook the shrimp with Old Bay seasoning, which is a rare treat that we enjoyed immensely! However, the shrimp could have been chilled more adequately, as the meat wasn't as firm as we expected. Sometimes, when shrimp are boiled, they aren't allowed to cool down long enough, resulting in softer meat. We look forward to returning someday to try more of their fish dishes. They have screens on the walls displaying various sports, making it an excellent spot to watch football when the season kicks off again. If you're a seafood lover, you will definitely enjoy this place!"

I had no expectations when I visited Shore, but was pleasantly surprised by the incredible live band that welcomed us. The experience just kept getting better from there. The menu was diverse, and everything we ordered was fantastic! While it can be a bit on the pricier side, it was definitely worth it for the great atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend checking this place out! Food: 5/5

When a tip is placed on the bill for you, it ruins the entire meal.Burger was over cooked despite not being busy. This place is just too expensive for the quality and service.I tried the chilled lobster roll during my first visit… wasn’t that good.Tried to dine in again today, and I’m just not impressed. Tried the lunch special burger, but it just didn’t satisfy. Fries are thin and lacking anything unique.Family didn’t complain, so maybe it was better for them.

Another year another birthday. Sat on the patio again but maybe the last time. The flies are so bad on their patio. There seem to be some issue on who our waiter was when we were seated. People got seated after us and got waited on and we waited. Finally, my husband went inside and asked if we could get a waiter. Food is good. I wish they had more grilled fish options like the Pick 6 but grilled and not fried. They were nice and gave my father a brownie for his birthday. We bring our own fans but now I guess if we want to go back we will bring our own fly fans. If I was the restaurant I would deal with the flies ASAP. View menu

Oyster menu is beyond amazing. Every bit of the seafood I've had here tastes perfect and fresh and is always prepared in a way that makes it the star of the dish it's on. I had some raw oysters, the ceviche and a cup of the seafood gumbo...all incredible. The restaurant design is one-of-a-kind...channels all the old Austin vibes that I miss from growing up here. Highly recommend making your way here. They have a cafe next door for breakfast tacos and more as well- looking forward to trying that next!Kid-friendliness: Brought my 2-year old with me. They have highchairs with trays on them(yes! . Restaurant is spacious and stroller-friendly too.

On the other hand, the female bartender was exceptional. She genuinely cared about our experience, and thanks to her, we were finally able to order our drinks and food as we wanted. It's crucial for any restaurant, especially at the bar, to maintain a high standard of service. Despite feeling let down by the service, I truly enjoy supporting local businesses and will return because the food is worth it. However, I do hope for an improved service experience next time. Note: I’m sharing this review not to disparage the restaurant but to offer constructive feedback as an entrepreneur. It’s a great place, but the service needs to match the quality of the food. I believe we can all grow by lea...

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
