"I used to live in Davis County and Sill's Cafe is a hometown favorite there. I had to drive to Weber State early this morning to pick up a child from campus, and realized it was the perfect opportunity to visit for breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. We were seated right away and had our food within ten minutes from the time we ordered. Our waitress was so kind and checked on us frequently throughout our meal. I ordered their famous honey butter scones, a Denver omelet, and hot chocolate. Everything was delicious!"

My food was very good (steak sandwich) but my husband's breakfast steak was tough and rubbery. The scones are to die for though, so all in all, great place

The hash browns tasted burnt, I didn’t know they would text me when table was ready since they never told me and we had to flag someone down to get take home boxes.

Sill's Cafe is a family favorite. We no longer love in the area but were back for a family reunion and our kids asked to stop at Sill's. Great service, great food (especially breakfast), huge portions. The scones are to die for! And we took cinnamon rolls to go! View menu

Woah, hold the salt! Would have been 5 star but the food was WAY too salty. If you’re looking for a breakfast diner with a ma and pa feel. Definitely get a scone but you can share between 2-3 people. Honey butter was delicious. Service was good, waitress was nice. Prices were decent.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting sills cafe, and I must say, the experience was made exceptional by one of the staff members, Cassie . She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure that every customer felt welcomed and well taken care of. Her warm smile and positive attitude truly brightened my day. The service was prompt, and she went above and beyond to ensure that my order was perfect. Cassie is a true asset to the café, and I look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommend!

"Haru Ramen House in Layton, Utah, is a mixed bag in terms of dining experience. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and arrived quickly. The gyoza, for instance, had a delightful crispness on the outside with a savory filling, and the takoyaki was a pleasant surprise with its rich flavors and texture. However, the main attraction—the ramen—was a bit of a letdown. While it wasn’t outright bad, it failed to stand out. The broth lacked the depth and richness one would expect from authentic ramen, and the noodles were just average. The toppings were sufficient but didn’t elevate the dish, leaving the overall experience underwhelming. The biggest disappointment, though, was the service. The staff seemed inattentive, and it took a long time to get refills or assistance. The lack of hospitality and care took away from what could have been a more enjoyable meal. It felt as though the staff were either overworked or simply uninterested, which was unfortunate given the potential of the restaurant. Overall, Haru Ramen House has its moments with the appetizers, but the average ramen and poor service make it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. With some improvements in customer service and a bit more attention to the quality of the ramen, this spot could become a much better dining destination. "My fiancé and I ate here for Valentine’s Day and had a delicious dinner. Our server Bryce had some great recommendations. We started off with the crabmeat fries. I love good loaded fries…and these were absolutely fantastic! The fries were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! We’d definitely order these again. We did the Valentine’s Day special which was dinner for two for $69 (very clever . It came with an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. We chose the crabmeat fries (delicious , crab, shrimp, extra shrimp (which was an additional $4 , and a lemon blueberry dessert. We chose to get the hook reel original sauce in a spicy heat level. I can do a little bit of heat, so spicy was great for me. I probably could have gone a tad hotter. I didn’t try the next heat level, but I think my fiancé would have liked that more. He loves spicy food. The main course was delicious! We couldn’t get enough of that sauce! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and could be easily cut with a fork. We ordered a lemon blueberry dessert, but the server brought us cheesecake. I don’t usually like cheesecake, but we really needed to be heading home, so we didn’t say anything to our server. I ended up loving the cheesecake! It was fantastic when drizzled with both the chocolate and strawberry sauce! Cheesecake is usually too dense for me, but this one was very light. All in all we had a great dinner. It could have been a little better if we were provided with gloves (I hate getting my hands messy . I don’t know if they forgot to provide them or if we needed to ask. It wasn’t a deal breaker though so we just dug in. It was kind of fun : We’d definitely come back for more delicious food."
