"This place is LEGIT! As a Filipino who grew up eating Manila style Filipino food practically every single day of my life, I can vouch for the authenticity of this restaurant. They serve the meanest breakfast in all of South Bay. Tocino silog: 5/5 I only wish they charred it a bit, but next time I will simply ask them to do so. It was still heavenlySizzling sisig: 5/5 I ordered the sizzling sisig instead of the silog because I wanted it on the sizzling plate! If you order the sisig silog, it'll just come on the banana leaf. I also learned that you get more meat ordering the sizzling sisig appetizer. So if you don't care for the egg, order the sizzling sisig appetizer and a garlic rice on the side it's only $1 more for more meat and for the sizzling effect! mango juice and calamansi juice: 4/5 it was just a tad too sweet for my liking. But the flavors were spot on! The ambiance is very casual. You order at the front and just take a seat. Then, you pick up your food when they call your name. They played Island Reggae the entire time I was there, which is my jam! The service was slow, but they explained that they cook everything to order which is why it takes long. I am okay with that, but if you are hoping for a quick breakfast then this is not the spot to sit down at. For quicker service, I recommend calling ahead of time for takeout. Do your tastebuds a favor and try this authentic, delicious Filipino restaurant with the best Filipino breakfast in all of SoCal!"

Very good! Very! Great place to take a date. Just be careful, might run into spoiled customers that are disrespectful to there own step kids..... but management should of kicked them out but its ok. Very understandableFood: 5/5

The service was decent; it wasn't bad, but there was definitely room for improvement. The food was enjoyable, though I would have liked to see more than just three pieces of longanisa. I also wish the halo-halo had additional toppings beyond just the beans. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4 out of 5. View menu

I couldn't be more enthusiastic about Silog! I will definitely be back. The food was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything was served on a banana leaf, which enhanced the Filipino experience. I reside in Maryland, but every time I visit California, I make sure to stop by here! I really enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant, and I can't wait to return! I highly recommend it to everyone!

The Sisig and tocino were beautifully presented on banana leaves, accompanied by garlic fried rice topped with a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg! The crispy pata was delicious, with a nice crunchy skin. It's best enjoyed with a vinegar and soy sauce mix. You place your order at the counter and pick up your tray when it's ready, and you’ll need to clean up after yourself when you’re done. The house-made tea, made with calamansi and honey, had a bit too much flavor from the five small mint leaves. Everything else was full of flavor, and I particularly loved the tocino.

Bruh. You’re better off getting silog breakfast meals from Jollibee. Opens so late in the morning, you’re practically eating lunch/brunch. Silog is a breakfast meal. On top of that, they overcharge you with the base price and have the audacity to ask for tip and additional credit card processing charge, when you have to pick up your food from the counter AND throw your food out. The cashier also seemed very disinterested in our presence. You could buy a hot plate, rice cooker, and the combination of ingredients needed to make silog and still pay less. Two star because the food tasted good. The vibes were simply not it. Keep this up and this place will not survive in California. View menu

I've been to this place quite a few times over the years, and the food is good. The menu is simple: You get a plate with garlic rice, and a soft boiled egg, and whatever protein you pick. They have beef, adobo chicken, etc. There are a few sides too, like lumpia (like Filipino egg rolls).Limited menu, but good. The downsides:1. the parking is a mess. Tight parking lot, often very crowded. That whole plaza is difficult with parking.2. always dark in there. Why so dark? And Last time I was there, a few days ago, some alarm or something kept going off for like 5 minutes inside the restaurant and no one was paying attention to it. Not a good vibe inside the place.3. No water to drink. I thought ever...

I was so excited to eat here again since I used to love this restaurant but relocated a couple years ago. I started frequenting Silog when they first opened and were profiled on Eater LA. My ex was Filipino and he enjoyed it as well. I’m in town so I decided to try it again with my cousin-awful. Not a big deal, but before they used to seat and serve you-now you’re on your own. Everyone was polite, but not attentive at all, like never checked on us. Maybe they aren’t required to? I ordered the chicken adobo and sisig appetizer with calamansi tea. The adobo was very sweet to me and it was shredded. I guess shredded isn’t a big deal, but I’ve never had it served that way. The sisig… I kept feel...

"My experience on this website was extremely unpleasant. Using open table I booked what I thought was a reservation. Upon arrival to the location, I am informed that not only is this restaurant/ location not affiliated to the opentable website; but wait time would be approximately 1 hour. Despite having received an email from open table confirming a “reservation”, BJ’s Restaurant at the Del Amo Fashion Center refused to validate booking and seat our party. Management at this establishment, at the time of expected service “Chris” confirmed booking through the website was only a “quote” of the expected time of service. I was assured nothing could be done since the restaurant was full low staffed. It’s important to note that I have dined at this location on several occasions, and was not nearly as busy compared to past visits. We were encouraged to wait, our party was seated within 15 minutes. Please note my review is based on booking through this website, and the miscommunication between open table corporate BJ’s Restaurants and managing staff. Our waitress was lovely, and the restaurant accommodated to our party as they could. I want to believe that BJ’s is no longer affiliated to open table, and if this is the case please REMOVE THE RESERVATION OPTION. It’s extremely disappointing to use this service only to be let down."
