"We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Peppercorn Grille and we couldn't have chosen a better restaurant. We chose to dine inside and were seated at a center table covered in elegant linens. We started our meal with a delicious fruity wine recommended by our server. For dinner we both chose Filet Mignon and it was so tender. Our side dishes were garlic potatoesso yummy and veggies a variety : excellent. Since it was our anniversary we were pleasantly surprised with lava cake for dessert. It was out of this world and oozing with chocolate sauce. The service we were given from arrival to departure was friendly and professional. I would recommend making a reservation because there were many parties waiting to be seated whereas we were seated immediately with our reservation. Overall we made an excellent choice in dining and will definitely return"

"This has been a must whenever I visit Big Bear. The food is full of flavor, great quality, and not to mention the large portions. I usually order the Chicken Tikka Masala at range 7 of the spicy level. I don't do 10 because my stomach will pay the consequences of my decision. I accompany the chicken with white rice and garlic naan. Can't go wrong with that. Also, you may want to get a mango lassi to cool off your palate from the spiciness.If the food alone doesn't convince you, you will definitely be impressed by the customer service you will receive. The employees are very attentive and friendly. This place is a must if you are in town and crave good Indian food."

"Pretty disappointed with this place. We waited 15min before any one came to take our order and 50 min for our food. Staff seemed very friendly with other tables but ignored us while we waited. Several tables who arrived after us got their food 10-15 min before we did. When asked how long it would be before our food they said it was ready just needed to be “built.” We got 3 breakfast burritos and a burger, I suspect they don’t know how to wrap a burrito. Two of our four meals were cold and the salsa is definitely Tostitos Mild. Only good thing was the burger but you can tell it wasn’t made with love."

"Absolutely the best Italian spot I've been to in a long time! Ryan and Megan killed it with service from walking through the door to the final goodbye. Upon walking in, you're met with the best aromas coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere was on point for a dinner date. Had the fresh bread oil, grilled artichoke, and beet salad to start with a bottle of cab. The mains consisted of the mushroom truffle pasta and eggplant parmesan. My partner is vegan, and they were very attentive to her requests. Everything was delicious and the service impeccable. Highly recommend, we will absolutely return again. Be sure to reserve as it is a very intimate setting. Long waits should be expected without a reservation. "Mexican food is my favorite, and I've tried all the local restaurants, including Azteca Grill, El Jacalito Grill, Hacienda Grill, Muchachos, and 909 Taqueria. Gaby's Latin Flavors, however, is just average Mexican cuisine at three times the price of others. It's simply overpriced. Anyone giving this place high ratings must either work there or have never experienced authentic Mexican food. The Bolivian twist they advertise is not what you'd expect. They charge you before you even sit down. Be cautious of the loud bartender; she tends to add an exorbitant tip to your bill without having provided any significant service. Her behavior felt more like I was in downtown LA than a local restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this place—there are far better options in Big Bear that are much more reasonably priced!"
