"Had a good experience here. Not exactly expensive, not cheap. Atmosphere was layed back, not too crowded and it sits in the middle of down town Fullerton. We each had different meats and broth bases. Veggies and broth are unlimited and noodles/meat you pay for extra. One of my meats was the ribeye , one was the 1885 prime rib and were good as well as the noodles. Everyone has a personal electric burner at their table. Although not smokey like a Korean BBQ we did walk out smelling a bit like what we cooked. Over all we liked it though and will be back. Full bar available as well."

Delicious and high quality ingredients! The sukiyaki, goma sauce and truffle fries were very very good and stood out in an overall outstanding meal. Great service too! I will definitely return soon. View menu

I really liked this place. It's a little cold when you get in, but as soon as your broth comes to roll-cooking and you start eating the boiled meat and vegetables, you warm up. Yum! Overall a nice dinner experience. Will go back.

Unfortunately we had to hurry so that I could not enjoy the full experience. Based on what we had to eat, it was great. I appreciate Shabu sites based on the Goma sauce and this was good. I'm back next week with more time to enjoy the food and take photos.

Never had Shabu before, but will definitely come back. Every bite of meat was full of taste and edible without bad fat bits. The broth was delicious and the tempura was mmm mmm good. The waitresses were also very helpful to explain the best way to cook. Nothing beats a delicious to the taste of good food. View menu

I felt a bit rushed while placing our order, but once the rest of our group arrived, the service improved significantly. The pricing was reasonable considering the variety of meats available. The meat itself was quite good, and the food presentation was done in a Bento style. However, the standout was the goma sauce, which had a slightly bitter taste that altered the flavors for me—not in a very pleasant way.

Slice shabu is a very simple and chic place to sit down and have good conversations with your beast or partner. The menu is simple and it is a good way to add some fun to your lunch or dinner because you get to cook your own food and have great conversations while doing it. I love the Ginger Dressing that was on my salad. It started and was only better with the thinly cut meat and fresh vegetables. I had the 4oz chicken and was pleasantly surprised, it was more than enough especially with the vegetables, so I am very full, but no guilt because it is healthy! Enjoy

"I've eaten a lot of paintings here about the years. it has always been decent eating. no more. the last time will be our last time. the spicy thunfish in my hand roll and 2 of the sushi rolls we ordered were so extremely salty that he made it completely unusable. I had used the soy packages that they contained, and first thought they were the tattoo so that I threw out the sauce and used a low sodium that we have in the refrigerator. the same problem. only one bit on the spicy thunfish alone was the proof that it was the man. it was not the hurdle that was the problem, the thunfish was not really very spicy. it was simply extreme saltiness, which made her whole mouth salty for an hour afterwards. it's like it's kaustic. it was completely infallible. the sashimi and the other roll that did not contain the spicy thun were in order. I have eaten california rolling from 7 11 before. I had everything from food store sushi to chic restaurants that cost hundreds of dollars. I've never had a sushi that tasted so bad I refused to eat it. that was the worst sushi I've ever tried. we ordered by doordash, but I called her to see if they wanted to do it right before they only get a refund of the order by doordash. No, they didn't care. they even hanged on me. when they treat you like this after they have the nerve to eat something like that, they will never get another dimmy from me."
