"We breezed into Simpsonville, SC and pulled into this magical and friendly place only to find the BBQ more flavorful than anything we have ever tasted. The menu is mouthwatering and if not for the suggestions by our host Wyatt we would have been totally lost. I went for the Carnivores Plate of off the bone ribs, cut with a fork brisket, succulent pulled pork, tender roasted chicken quarter, and smoked sublime sausage. My wife went with a pulled pork sandwich, cold slaw and to die for banana coconut cream custard. We found a gem in a totally unexpected place. Thanks Chef John! May you thrive and share your love of BBQ forever.?"

The food is delicious! I ordered the Carnivore's Joy, which is actually an appetizer, and I was completely satisfied. They also have a great selection of sauces.

The food and ambiance are fantastic, and the staff is wonderful as well. I will definitely be coming back. I tried the BBQ Frito Bowl, which was new to me, and it was delicious. The portion sizes are excellent for the price.

The BBQ here really surprised me. Everything was fantastic and I knew I liked everything when I over ordered and ended up eating every bite of food. The service here is also top notch. They were very attentive of our plates and needs. I am definitely gladto have a wonderful BBQ place in Simpsonville.

Mac Cheese??.Oh my goodness! Perfectly cooked and very cheesy, by far the BEST around. The sliced coleslaw, not chopped, has a really nice sauce blended in making it a perfect match with the tender pulled pork. The entire staff is very friendly and alwaystaking extra steps to make your dining experience pleasant! View menu

First time customer. It’s was OK BBQ. When I got home with my 1# of brisket and 1# of pulled pork and four sides I was disappointed in the size of the sides. Tiny!! And only found one tiny side size of both mild and spicy sauces. One tiny portion for one pound of meat is definitely not enough. I’ll check out other BBQ restaurants and hopefully find one that is worth the money.

I am not one to leave a bad review lightly. But this is pretty much the worst brisket I've ever had. Dry, tough and flavorless. I had to dunk it in BBQ sauce just to eat it, and even then I could barley swallow it. Good brisket I hesitate to even use any sauce with it. And the potato salad was not good. A bit vinegar tasting and very bland. Go to Smokey Dreams Barbecue of you want good brisket. But not here. Terrible.

The dining experience was excellent, with great service and a lovely atmosphere. I'm genuinely puzzled by comments about the portion sizes being too small; I found them to be appropriate and healthy. They also offer a fantastic deal on Tuesdays, where you can get one free child's meal with each adult meal, which is a wonderful perk. Plus, there's the option for outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! View menu

There are so many good BBQ restaurants in this area. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. The meat is greasy and has so much fat in it, it is impossible to have a good mouthful without having to spit out the fat which should have been removed prior to chopping. Greasy meat means almost instant stomach upset, so we will not be back. Oh, and if you think you can get a bit of wine with your dinner, be prepared to sip that out of a CAN… Really not a great place for food OR drink.

Now, let’s get to the main reason you'd visit a BBQ place: the meat. It was AMAZING! The pulled pork, brisket, and other options had us savoring every bite. I tried the house sauce (St. Louis style, for those who know me—nothing can beat the original!), and it was very tasty. As for the atmosphere, the enticing aroma hit you as soon as you approached the door, drawing you inside! Once inside, the restaurant had a pleasant, cozy, and open vibe, just what you’d expect from a BBQ joint. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you can, go tonight!

"This place has really gone downhill! I used to have breakfast here once a week and at first the food was fairly consistent (I always order the same thing). The last few times I went, which was over the course of several months, the food was AWFUL! I ordered a cinnamon roll that was served still frozen in the center. Customizations we 're ignored. Eggs were raw.. there were issues like these at every visit. But the very last time I visited, every single thing my party ordered was awful. One guest with a dairy allergy was served a dish smothered in sour cream (of course, they ordered it to be dairy free). Before it was even placed on the table, the food runner was made aware that it was made wrong, they apologized, and said they 'd remake it correctly. Several minutes later, they brought out the EXACT same plate of food except most of the sour cream had been scraped off, and from sitting in the back it was now cold. I was appalled! To add insult to injury, another person in the party had ordered a jalapeño cornbread that came out burnt to a crisp. This time, we told the server that it was exceptionally over cooked, which he agreed with, apologized, and said he 'd bring a less well done one . Same scenario this time..a few minutes later, the exact same, burnt to a crisp jalapeño cornbread was reserved to our table. At this point we sent back both dishes and asked to have them removed from the check. Initially the server said they would only to return a moment later saying the manager wouldn 't remove the dishes! The compromise was that we could choose 1 dish off the menu for them to prepare as a to go meal at no additional charge. We stated we just wanted the cost of the inedible food removed, but they firmly refused. When all was said and done, the $25 for food we never even touched remained on our bill. I will never be back!"
