"Ernestos serves truly homemade dishes, dedicating countless hours to ensure everything is freshly made and emphasizing cleanliness. Their food is definitely not prepackaged, and as someone with a refined palate, I immediately noticed the difference when they switched to fresh ingredients. Having run my own scratch kitchen, I'm acutely aware of the pre-prepared options available from various vendors, and I can easily distinguish the different flavors and brands; no one can deceive me. Ernestos is the real deal, and I truly appreciate the quality they offer. They are planning to introduce a buffet and will reopen in mid-February, but unfortunately, the local crowd seems drawn to other Mexican restaurants that serve alcohol. Customers indulge in drinks and often overlook the inferior food! Give Ernestos a chance, and if you share my discerning palate, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!"

"Stopped for dinner when in the area. Hosts table seats you, typical seating arrangements with booths and tables. Had a cold beer and chips while waiting for fajitas. Wait staff friendly. Not what I would call good food just Meh. The fajitas were not fresh or at least didn't seem that way. More like a stew of meat, onions, peppers. Maybe a tomato? To hard to distinguish between things since they were just cooked to mush. The guacamole, lettuce, pico, etc was ok, seemed fresh, but that couldn't bring life to meal. Not a place I would recommend. "Thank you Chinese Chef. We went through Parsons KS on our way to Kansas in April. We ate at the Chinese Chef. The food was great and they were friendly and helpful. Even more than that I would like to thank them for going out of their way to help me. I had left my one of a kind quilted jacket on the back of my chair. The owner was willing to take it to the local Ace Hardware where the UPS drop off point mailed it back to me. Thank so much."
