"I recently tried St. Francis Southern Barbecue for the first time, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I was a bit apprehensive at first since neither of my parents had ever eaten here, but I decided to give it a shot. The barbecue was fantastic, and the side dishes were equally tasty. They really serve generous portions! A special shoutout to whoever makes the cornbread—it's amazing! The quality of the food is well worth the price. My family and I will definitely be back soon! Best regards, Rick."

I tried them for the first time and I can't speak to the customer service because we ordered through Grubhub, but the food was fantastic. The hot links are incredible—very...

Last night was my daughter's winter formal, so my wife and I decided to go out for dinner and possibly catch a movie afterward. I was really in the mood for some BBQ, but the restaurant...

As first-time visitors, we had high hopes for this place. We ordered two bowls of chili, but we were disappointed to find that they were packed with an excessive amount of beans, which served as a filler instead of meat. Furthermore, the dish was quite...

Great southern cuisine. The catfish was lightly seasoned. Everyone enjoyed their hot links, chicken and shrimp. I have been back 2 to 3 times already. The service is friendly and I really felt like it was my grandma in the kitchen back there making the food. View menu

Came here for the first time in 20 or so years last night. We just moved back to town and this is the best BBQ place in town. Not sure why Google says reservations are required, but they're not. I'm not even sure they're available. It's fairly small, but has a nice patio area. Give it a try!

This is the best BBQ place to be found outside of Memphis. The food tastes just like what I used to get in west TN. After talking to the owner I found out his family is from a small town close to where my mom’s family is. That explains everything. His family has been serving BBQ for generations! If you want good southern food this is the place!

My wife got the 'hype burger ' and it was huge, and the tomatoes were fresh. I had the baby back ribs, and while the sauce wasn 't anything too special, the ribs themselves were absolutely perfect. Tender but not falling apart. Charred just enough. Plenty meaty. The cornbread was big and not dry at all. And to top it off, the service was very good. View menu

My husband, myself, our child (who is almost 6 months) , and my grandparents went here last night. The restaurant was amazing. The waiter was extremely helpful and nice, even taking the time to talk to our little one when he was getting fussy. The food is outstanding! Excellent food and large portions. DO NOT listen to the very few bad reviews! St. Francis BBQ is a new favorite, our only regret is not finding it sooner!!

I ordered the fried catfish dinner, which included baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, and a bottle of the local 805 beer. It was absolutely delicious. The catfish was cooked to perfection—crispy and full of flavor, sweet and juicy. The coleslaw was just right for my taste: not overly dressed. The catfish was served with a side of Louisiana hot sauce, and the beer was served in a chilled mug. These thoughtful details made the experience even better.

"Located right off the 101 freeway, upscale barbecue restaurant Wood Ranch has consistently served up Camarillo's best food for years. Speaking as a native Southern foodie--who grew up 100 miles from New Orleans and who has lived in Texas, South Carolina and close to Memphis--I'd rank their ribs, pulled pork, etc. right up there with the best. Not to mention an enticing array of sides, such as tangy peanut cole slaw, fluffy baked potatoes always freshly cooked, and The Very Best sweet potato fries around. Lunch specials include fun foods like beef and pork sliders, and their creative salads and chicken tortilla soup are great for lighter appetites. No matter what you choose, don't say no to their signature garlic rolls! Their wine selection is excellent, offering a carefully curated selection of California's best wine values. On Tuesdays they place all wines on 30% discount, and they now offer 10% off glasses of all their wines during weekday happy hour from 3-6! There are three seating areas: indoor booths with subdued lighting, bar with booths and bistro tables, and a double-decker semi-enclosed heated patio (our favorite . But don't be fooled by the burgers and bbq, this is a fine dining restaurant with excellent service offered in a casual atmosphere--the best of all worlds. Dietary restrictions: For medical reasons, my diet is not just gluten-free but grain-free. This is my go-to local restaurant because of the variety of options I have. (Of course, if you are a sensitive celiac, you need to be careful."

"Well we kept seeing this restaurant on Open Table and since we eat out a lot and love Italian cuisine we are Sicilian); we thought let’s try it. Online menu was very good seemed convenient, intimate and lovely. Yes, the restaurant is intimate small but nicely set up and lovely, simple setting inside. Ordered drinks mine glass of wine) came back wrong but they fixed it without issue. Appetizer time we ordered the Bruschetta. We had 6 people 5 adults, 1 child. The waiter said there are 3 pieces to an order of Bruschetta so we ordered 2 orders. They came OH GEESE) it’s there house bread sliced very thin, lightly toasted with olive oil and a tomato mix. Now $10.00 for 3 SMALL not exaggerating pieces of Bruschetta, which for us was $20.00 for 6 2 orders of Bruschetta) was absurd. Too little for so much. We then order salads entrees. My Husband ordered their fish special “Ahi tuna” with a Caesar salad with anchovies, me shrimp scampi with caprese salad, my son pasta with butter cheese. The other guests did pastas and a chicken parmigiana. My salad was great gigantic and fresh. My husbands salad Caesar) was tiny you could see the plate literally like a cup of romaine. Then 4 small anchovies. Dinner I tried my husbands ahi the special of the night) OMG NOT good fish, extremely fishy. Clearly not a sushi grade fish for seared ahi dish. I told my husband I had taken a small piece to try) not to eat it’s not cooked. He tried looks at me and agrees not good, very fishy. He tells the waitress and she doesn’t hassle offers a new dish. He orders my scampi. So dinner is okay at best. My sons penne pasta with butter is not even cooked. Bill comes a joke. My scampi is $19 my hubbys scampi $23 WHAT??? Then charged $4 for anchovies which we were never told. Look, we will not be back. Not a traditional Italian establishment not worth it, not good! Do not waste your money, too over priced for food not well made."
