"For years, I've been drawn to this place for its fantastic fresh beer and the best beer tour in town. However, the food has always been a disappointment—poorly executed and just not good. Today, I had a Buffalo burger that was overcooked and dry. I ended up discarding the oversized white flour ciabatta bun and only eating part of the burger. The house salad was more complex than usual, but still not very large. We were aware of a major North County company that held events here, and we had warned them about the food quality, but we wanted to experience it ourselves. I really hope they focus on improving taste and texture rather than trying to impress with unusual choices. I like the Stone Brewing company, so I’ll give it another try."

The Stone Brewing Co. (or Stone Bistro and Gardens) is quite the impressor. Located in far out Escondido, the gardens and unique structure create a fun environment to have a brew with friends. The food is an appropriate pairing with the extensive beer and wine list. Great place to bring friends and the garden is pleasant during the day and at night with the fire pit.

This place has everything for it... except the food. We've been there twice and both times we were all very disappointed with food. Every attention was given to the incredible restaurant with the impressive brewery on the one hand and a fantastic rock garden on the other, if only so much attention was given to the menu that sounds great, but bland and boring. Very, very disappointing.

Wow! The beer selection here is incredible, and the food is uniquely excellent. The pretzels we had as starters were a perfect warm-up. The Chicken Schnitzel was flavorful, and the vegetables were a great complement. My favorite dish was definitely the Sausage Platter—it was perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. They also have fantastic kids' meals, including a uniquely tasty "grilled" cheese sandwich made with fresh craft bread and white cheese, served with potato bread.

The beer selection was impressive, but I would reconsider dining here for dinner. I ordered the ****, which was overcooked and dry. I had to send it back twice. For my third attempt, I chose the flat iron steak, which was decent. On the plus side, the service was quite good. As a restaurant owner myself, I was let down by the food quality and the beer options. I wouldn't recommend Stone Brewing World Bistro Garden for a romantic dinner, but it could be a nice spot for cocktails. View menu

My daughter and I love this restaurant! My husband doesn't. It has a wide selection of dishes for vegetarians... Yes! But my daughter, Carnivore, loves her steak for dinner and her buffalo castle for lunch. We both agree that the carrot cake is just fabulous. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't comment on the beer, but one of these days I might have to try the real beer (they also have a root beer version) for Dessert! Do not forget to stroll the gardens while you are there. I also heard they had brewery tours, but I would rather just eat and look at the gardens.

I wanted to go to the brewery since they opened and finally got there last Friday. He was there at 7:00 and had to wait 40 minutes for a table. I expected this and my husband and I got drinks at the bar (beer for him wine for me) and went the gardens. I loved it. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was very friendly, but the service is a little slow. Again, I was prepared and could enjoy myself at the Leisurley Tempo. The portions are right for me. Fill, but you will not feel filled. You can comfortably eat an appetizer and dessert. Definitely save a little space for dessert and get the chocolate pyramid. It was the best chocolate dessert I ever had (and I had a...

"Sad, it was our anniversary, and we wasted our celebratory meal which cost a lot of money. No air conditioning. So it's stuffy and hot inside: poor ambiance. Tables were sticky and because I wore a skirt, the back of my legs stuck to the plastic booth seats. Food:This is the only place I know that puts cheese on a dynamite. My hubby ordered the volcano, which looked NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE IN THE MENU. It Was LAYERED with shredded jalapeños, making it extremely difficult and uncomfortable for my hubby to eat. He had to pick thru his food to pull the numerous pieces of heartburn material aside, which he never picks at his food in the 22 Oh, it was our 22nd wedding anniversary, which we told our waitress. I don't think we even got a congratulatory remark from her. She took my sons order, leaving the other two of us waiting for her to return to take the rest of our orders, which I ordered the same as my son. Their timing on meals was poor. My hubby got his plate 15 minutes before my son and I got ours. It wasn't fun waiting for our food. Meanwhile, my hubby felt guilty for eating before we were all served. I actually walked to the 99 cent store and bought Stevia type sugar substitute and walked back to the restaurant while my hubby ate his meal and before my son and I received our meals. The condiments: stingy . They have saccharine (pink packets) or sugar, no Stevia, no Splenda, no raw sugar. Only soy sauce, no teriyaki sauce unless you can flag down a waitress. the service was poor. I had to ask for water several times and they gave my son the song drink. The cost: the value was not there. For$86 after a 9 dollar tip and tax, we should have walked out stuffed. Instead, we walked out still feeling hungry. I do not think we will ever go back."
