"Adriana's may not be the hidden gem it once was, but that's perfectly fine since the restaurant's popularity ensures it will remain in business for a long time. I visited last Thursday for lunch with my sons after hiking at Castlewood State Park. Although the parking lot was quite full, we were quickly guided to a booth. The service was prompt; we received our menus right away along with some amazing chips and salsa (seriously, the salsa is fantastic!) and our drink orders were taken quickly. Even though the place was packed, our lunch orders were taken swiftly, and I was served an ice-cold cerveza (much deserved after our hike!). Our food arrived about ten minutes later and it looked just as delicious as it tasted (the steak chimi is a must-try!). If you find yourself in Castle Rock or the Franktown area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. They offer outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside where it was pleasantly cool after our 2+ hour hike; the interior is inviting and clean. One last tip: be kind to the staff, as they really work hard to take care of all the tables!"

"This is a classic Mexican restaurant currently undergoing renovations (as of August 2022). The sodas and traditional Mexican drinks like horchata are served in generous portions, and the margaritas are equally ample and well-balanced. However, I would recommend steering clear of dish #7, which features two rellenos. These are small, fried wraps filled with a lot of squeaky cheese and just a thin slice of green pepper (I was expecting a stuffed poblano pepper, so that might be my fault). The beans were white and quite runny, more like a soup than a side dish. The flan was a bit coarse and lacked flavor, but the fried Oreos were surprisingly fluffy and soft, which was interesting. In my opinion, instead of serving them with whipped cream, they would be much better with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream."

"The salsa was very tomatoey. Had a little spice but not really too good. Ordered the house margarita during Happy Hour and just assumed that was the special Happy Hour marg but was incorrect. They have a special happy hour margarita that you have to ask for by name. Would've been nice if the waitress suggested it since I was just ordering the house marg, but no. The pork in my burrito was so tough it broke my temporary bridge! I ate a couple bites of the tortilla it was wrapped in and some beans and rice, which were ok, but if I saw a plate that had 2 3 bites taken off of it come back to my kitchen I would want to know what was wrong and the customer certainly wouldn't pay for it. But again, no. I think they already know what's wrong and I seriously doubt I will see them still in business very long. Wouldn't recommend and certainly won't be back. A serious Mexican place needs to have 3 things great salsa, great margaritas and tender, braised meats. This place had none of those."
