Reese, Mike, Greg, and the team are fantastic! The drinks are exceptional, the selection is excellent, and there's meticulous attention to detail in every drink they create. The view is unbeatable, with live music most evenings at 5:30 and unforgettable sunsets! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good food. Very good service. Drinks were good. I ordered the fish sandwich recommended by the bartenders and they didn’t steer me wrong. We were able to watch the sunset. Very good view. Mixed experiences; the pulled pork sandwich was great but the BLT was unexceptional. Our bartender on the first day was fantastic; our server for dinner on the first night was very mediocre at best but the second night the woman who served us was fantastic. Service was quick and the music was fun if maybe a little loud while dining. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We spent a week at the Kona Coast Resort, and I have to say that the service from the bar staff was extremely disappointing. Throughout our stay, the staff—except for one interaction with a female server—were consistently rude and condescending. Interestingly, they seemed to treat our male companion with more respect, which makes us question whether their behavior was simply rude or if it also had a sexist undertone. As for the food, I would rate it a 1.

We eventually decided to take matters into our own hands and grabbed a menu to ask the indifferent male bartender about service. He assured us that she would be right over, but she continued to sip on her energy drink and giggle while cleaning other tables. We waited for 15 minutes without any attention. Unfortunately, the food also didn't justify the wait. If you see her as your server, I recommend finding somewhere else to eat. Are you listening, Sunset Terrace? I’ve never felt the need to post a review of a restaurant, but I feel compelled to post this I’ve NEVER had a worse meal in my life. Our group ordered the simplest of foods (grilled cheese sandwiches, mac n cheese, fries, and salad). You can’t mess that up, right? WRONG The grilled cheese was cold, hard, and absolutely repulsive. Mac n Cheese came straight from a Kraft box, and the salad was just a massive piece of lettuce slapped into the box with nothing on it I’d rather eat something at a college frat house than this restaurant; they should be ashamed.

Located by the pool at the Kona Coast Resort, my friends and I had a mix of experiences during our two visits. On our first visit, we ordered the fish burger, an adult grilled cheese sandwich, and fish and chips. While the fish in the fish and chips was a bit dry, everything else was enjoyable. On our second visit, we tried the gyro, a BLT, and a chicken cordon bleu burger, and I must say, all the dishes were good. I’d seen reviews mentioning poor service, but we didn’t encounter any problems. Was the service exceptional? No. Was it terrible? Not at all. The only downside was that on our second visit, we weren’t able to charge the meal to our room, but luckily, one of us had our wallet with...

Hit and miss service but management needs to investigate. Food average. Our first night on Aug 29 we had a great server. Short hair female, very attentive and personable. I wondered why all the negative service reviews! Then tonight Sept 2, I understand. Long dark hair in a bun, slim build with butterfly tatt on right arm. We sat for 10 minutes, no water or menu. Only 2 other tables full and they were done. We went up to bar and poured our own water and grabbed a menu. Server giggled behind bar with hefty male bartender, both drinking energy drinks.
