"Revisited in June 2024, haven't been back since the remodel. Minami Sushi in Streamwood offers a serene, clean and casual dining experience with minimal modern design. Their menu boasts a variety of sushi, tempura, and noodle dishes, hot and cold appetizer selections and daily lunch specials. Our experience began with a refreshing house salad featuring iceberg lettuce, carrot shavings, and cherry tomatoes in a delightful citrus ginger dressing. Our server, Tammy, was thoughtful in guiding us through gluten-free options. I opted for the Tasty Ex and Loco Tako rolls, both safe choices for those with allergies. The Tasty Ex, with its layers of salmon, yellowtail, and spicy tuna, topped with a medley of spicy mayo and wasabi mayo, provided a subtle yet delicious kick. The Loco Tako roll, while visually stunning, requires a thoughtful approach to fully appreciate its flavors, especially the spicy octopus topping. Neither roll was too spicy for me. My husband enjoyed the Tekka Don, a generous bowl filled with mushrooms, tamago, tuna, seaweed salad, radish, and seasoned rice. The varied textures and flavors made for a satisfying dish, though we both wished for more gluten-free options to enhance our dining experience. Overall, Minami Sushi offers a talented staff, tranquil ambiance and delectable dishes, but could benefit from expanding their gluten-free offerings to accommodate a wider range of dietary preferences. Since there were few gluten free options, I may come back for the rolls I was able to eat. There are no desserts on the menu, so if I had to suggest one I think a simple ice cream or fruit to cleanse the palate would suffice! (Previous review: Not a mind blowing experience and just okay. Seems to gather a large lunch crowd. No gluten/dairy free notes on menu. Completely unaware about food allergies! Would not likely come again. I had a couple bites of the dragon roll and was not excited or tasty. It was bland and just okay. The booths had taped up seats and seemed a little unclean)."

"My mom said this is the best sushi place in Chicagoland and she's absolutely correct. They have a very wide selection of sushi and sashimi, you can't go wrong with any of them. I had the beef udon soup which I was kinda scared about since at another restaurant it was pretty bad. My hopes were not crushed, however, as this was some of the best udon soup I've ever had. My family got a bunch of sushi and sashimi which was all equally extremely good. The fish is all fresh and everyone was really nice! However we came at a really busy time so water and plates were slow to come after them realizing that they missed one. Server was very helpful with suggestions and patient. Again.. FOOD IS GREAT. It can get pricey if you go for individual sushi (although worth it) but my soup was $13 and definitely worth the price (Niku Udon Dinner). All in all, easy 5 stars."

"I went with a friend, and this was the first time I went to any sushi place, and I was blown away on how great literally almost everything was. You're greeted at the door. They welcome you in and bring you to your table. A very nice and clean establishment. Then, they sit you down, and you get your sheet on what you want to order. I opted for the, all you can eat. If you have any questions, they will help you, even bring you a book with pictures of what the food is if you have any doubts. When we got the food, it was very good. Everything was absolutely tasty. On that sheet of paper, you write your name, and they will call you by your name the rest of your visit. Our water was very friendly, and happy to be there and helpful. I absolutely loved this place. I'm happy this was my first experience having sushi with this restaurant. They will definitely have a returning customer. "Best pizza around northwest suburbs. The pizza sauce is great and the cheese flavor is tasty. The owner is a great guy and takes pride in his company name. I see him there working all the time I order. The chicken wings are huge and have a good buffalo flavor. The salads are pretty good here as well. There's no dine in unless you want to sit in a small table with two or four chairs. Stop by and Give it a try you won't be disappointed."

"Wow, absolutely incredible! The vegan options here are out of this world. It was our first time at this restaurant today and Sergio, our bartender, was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We started with watermelon chili margaritas and then tried the spicy candy margaritas. The salsa they bring to your table is so delicious. For lunch, we had the veggie enchiladas and empanadas and both dishes were incredibly satisfying. We have been dining out for over 2 years and this was by far the best meal we've ever had. The ambiance is fantastic, they have an extensive drink menu, delicious dishes coming from the kitchen, and most importantly, amazing service. Our bartender explained that everything is made in small batches daily, including freshly pressed juice for cocktails and house-crafted tequila. This is definitely the best place for delicious food and drinks. The regular menu also looks phenomenal and everything coming out of the kitchen looked appetizing. We will definitely be back often, I can't believe it was my first time here. I wish I had discovered this place sooner. Thank you Sergio for a wonderful experience!"
