"This is an excellent restaurant with exceptional food. I ordered the Whiting dinner with a quarter pound of shrimp and had to try the fried green tomatoes. I also enjoyed the beignets, which were just as fresh as the fish. The seasoning was perfect. I regret not trying the greens; I saw another customer enjoying them so much that they made a purchase after sampling! I will definitely be back for those. The place is clean and welcoming—truly a gem. The staff there were incredibly nice and helpful, especially since I almost drove past the restaurant. If you're heading north, it’s on your right side; if you’re going south, it's on your left. After calling three times, I think the manager came out and waved me in. The family-friendly atmosphere made for a memorable experience—this is exactly how a business should be run. I highly recommend this place, and without a doubt, it will be my new go-to for fish. I can't wait to share it with others!"

Oh my God. What can I say? The fried lobster with garlic fries it's really good. The bread they give you with it is really fresh. If you haven't tried fried lobster from Surf's Up, you really need to get there.

The food was delicious. Excellently cooked and spiced. They give ideal portions. The greens are tasty and the fried green tomatoes are some of the best I've had. I had the fried catfish combo. The lady who answered the phone was courteous and accommodating.

I was so disappointed in this place. All the meal here ranges from 22 to 28 dollars. The food is bland and the portion size is not worth it. Don't waste your time and money going to this place. I tried to support this place because it's black owned not a good idea.

We were playing pickleball in the park nearby and decided to stop by Surf's Up on a whim The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely gave the place a homey feel to it. Food was good too, servings were big and fry on the fish was spot on. The fries were a little oily and soggy though but we didn't mind. Had a catered order for my daughters graduation party. We had chicken wings, catfish, corn and potatoes, greens, fried green tomatoes with house made Surfs Up sauce ? , fried biscuits. Everything tasted amazing and DeAngela provided excellent customer service! Guests really loved the potatoes and I should have gotten the large pan. ?? Highly recommended, can’t wait to try some of the othe menu items like the crab leg dinner and shrimp. Thank you Surfs Up. You understood the assignment!
