"Rustic environment, but upscale food. One of the highest quality meals I've had in Columbus. I chose this place because of their menu; the happy hour snacks and appetizers were very vegetarian friendly and I had many options, most of which were not forms of potatoes! We got there in time to get happy hour snacks and a few beers. I had one of the sours which was delicious. We had the fried cashews and the cheddar biscuits, both of which were well spiced and tasty. For my meal, I got the burrata. This was a very cool dish; the lentils were well cooked, the burrata rich and creamy, and the onion component was delicious! For dessert I ordered the squash- which turned out to be squash donuts! I felt the dish tasted like baklava, my guests thought apple crisp. Regardless, this was a unique dessert that was well saving room for! Highly recommend (especially if you get there for happy hour)!"

Great food here and the service is first rate too. I had the chicken cheesey biscuit and my wife had the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious.

The pizza was so delicious that we ended up ordering a second one. The beers were exceptional as well, which is something we always look forward to at Rockmill. We particularly enjoyed the experimental IPA and the white ale. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you!

Amazing cheese platter with local cheeses and surprisingly dark chocolate! great service, home brew beer and double fried fries! Side of the Brussel Sprouts was amazing. Not the crispy kind but more so thr glazed soft kind. Small and super tasty. The mains were normal, crispy chicken sandwich looked great, I got the burger medium rare.

"Upscale pizza places can be hit or miss, but we really enjoyed our pizza here. The pies are quite large, making them a great value for the money. We particularly loved the one topped with crispy Brussels sprouts; it was delicious and clearly crafted with thought—unlike many places that simply throw on a collection of pricey ingredients without considering the flavor balance. Although I didn’t dine in, the restaurant is beautiful, cozy, and not overly noisy. The staff was very friendly, too." View menu

Rockmill brings everything you love about craft brewpubs into one cozy space. The beer section was excellent and didn't focus so heavily on IPAs like most breweries do. As for the food, the menu was tight but everything on it was a hit. The bread and fat appetizer is beyond incredible and a must try for anyone visiting for the first time. We tried the special (blanket pasta and brazed pork cheek) along with the spicy chicken sandwich and both were bursting with flavor. This is my new favorite restaurant for sure.

The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was delicious! The flavors were exceptional, and I really appreciated that they use fresh ingredients from their own garden. I particularly liked their accommodating nature; since I don’t eat pork, our server kindly checked with the chef about modifying the recipe. The chef happily agreed without any hesitation. Everything tasted wonderful! The handmade pasta was a special dish, with a different type offered each day. I also highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, which had a delicious smoky, charred flavor. Our server was not only very friendly but also well-informed about the menu and truly passionate about the restaurant.

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
