"We walked in at 6:15 on a Wednesday without reservations and after being let through the green velvet rope, we were seated at the table closest to the door which seemed odd since there were only 2 other people in the restaurant in the dining room. There were more people in the bar. As the sun set, the light was challenging in this particular spot and I felt like I needed my sunglasses. Our server Michelle was very friendly and after we told her that while we understood the dishes were served family style, that because one of us was vegetarian and the other not, we weren’t sure how to make sure only one of us was eating while we waited for the other dish. She accommodated us and everything was served at once.I missed the memo that this was mostly a cocktail bar and was disappointed in the wines by the glass option. One house white, one house red, and one house rose. I should have had a cocktail. The food was good. I had the butter chicken and while the sauce was good, it was thin and the chicken seemed boiled. It would have been fantastic without the chicken and with carrots, onions, potatoes, chickpeas, and cauliflower. My dining partner had the broccolini with chickpea spread and tomatoes and the green bean salad. Both were good but we loved the ranch dressing with the green beans, frisée, and the goat cheese.I’d go back and try a cocktail and a few other things on the menu.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian lasagne, salads"

We arrived towards closing time yet the restaurant was very accommodating to our big group. Our server Matt was absolutely amazing for our birthday group and kept our table hydrated, entertained, and well serviced. We will definitely come again and ask for Matt when visiting Paso Robles.

We visited twice once for dinner and once for dessert. The cocktails were great and added excitement. We ordered several shareable items. The popcorn had good flavor, but was stale. I was surprised that we were not offered fresh popcorn. We were also served extremely hard bread for the bone marrow. When we pointed it out, they did bring us a fresh loaf.

Last minute reservation at The Remedy (speakeasy) last Saturday, while friends were in town- and the 4 of us had the most surprising and AMAZING experience with Mr. Troy Tucker. Troy is a genius beverage maker (biochemist) and gifted/talented entertainer. We plan to make reservations and bring all our out of town guests here to meet him and enjoy a fantastic evening of pleasure. Thank you, Troy !!!We will be back soon!

The service was excellent, and the patio next to the bar and along the street was lovely. The food was fairly average—my son's butter chicken, prepared with a Thai red curry, was decent. However, I had to send back my duck pasta because it was dry and lacked flavor. They quickly replaced it with skirt steak, but it was under-seasoned and didn’t have much flavor either. There were no vegetables served with the main dishes at all. View menu

We only had time for drinks, but we had such a wonderful experience! Sitting at the bar, we loved watching the talented bartenders craft their beautiful and creative cocktails. Jessica, the bartender, kept us entertained with her engaging explanations of the drinks and delightful conversation. The greeters at the door were also charming, making us eager to step inside. We only wish we had more time to delve into the intriguing food menu!

Made reservations 5 days in advance for a Tuesday and we’re still placed outside on the small sidewalk patio. Ordered the Duck pasta for $28 and it was a small bowl of udon noodles with about 3 oz of duck. On the bill we were charged $37 and had to get it corrected after a short disagreement. For food, a very limited menu of over priced items. They must be known for their drinks. Too many better restaurants with better prices in Paso to pick this one.

The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, every dish was lackluster and lacked flavor. The $70 Wagyu was tough, rubbery, and bland. The pork chop arrived with some parts still bright red and undercooked, and the prawns and corn were similarly underwhelming. The deviled eggs were decent, but overall, we were left extremely disappointed. We wouldn't recommend visiting this restaurant, especially when there are so many other excellent options in town. The food was good. Not great.I make a mean yellow curry chicken at home, my kids agreed was just as good as home vs Alchemists.....made for less. The service is never knowing.....sometimes great, sometimes so terrible I don't get why we keep coming back. I've been a waitress, I get getting stressed ....but 5 tables or less and you don't touch down to check on us for 20 minutes or more, we were wanting to buy more ...we decided, no thanks. Rather go to Umis. Get it together guys!

We previously had an appetizer and drink after attending an event but went back to enjoy the whole experience. Our waiter was a delight and provided excellent service. We started with drinks, including the Zodiac special for Cancer, a French 75 and a local beer. The Zodiac special was tasty and the French 75 equally so. It 's hard to find a French 75 made correctly and this one was spot on! We ordered the croquette of the day appy and it was good but could have used a little salt or other seasoning. On to the main event... vegetable lasagna, salmon, and shrimp tacos. The vegetable lasagna was good and likely a nice choice for low carb guests since the pasta was cabbage. It had great flavor!...

"I guess I'm a little old school if I get a good meal at a good price with decent service, that's my minimum expectation ..... so, I try to balance price and quality We come to Paso Robles several times a year with friends. We had the pleasure of dining at Thomas Hill Organics during restaurant month they rotated weekly a fixed price meal special from their chefs. The menus looked great and the price pretty reasonable for three courses salad, entree, dessert (approx $50). To be honest, the regular menu might or might not have swayed us to come (since there are so many other choices in Paso), but the special dinner definitely made up our minds, The food was visually appealing and delicious with small touches the lovely carrot garnish on the fish and toothsome sherry sauce on the gnocchi (working from memory here and yes, I should have written this review sooner Both the salad and tart were a cut above an ordinary green salad and cake the ingredients fresh, tasty and harmonious. All things considered, we felt that we had a delicious meal that was above the ordinary at a very fair price. Portions were just right not too little and not too much. I hope THO continues with a prix fixe option since we travel with friends, it makes it a lot easier to split the bill as well as providing us something special to look forward to. As for service: the kitchen seemed a little slow, but the server was attentive enough to let us know that we had not been forgotten. That's all we ask is to not feel like we are being ignored. Staff were properly masked and dressed sharply and that also gave us a feeling of relaxed elegance. The server did not balk at handling separate checks (sometimes the best way to keep good friendships ! by allowing everyone freedom to order what they want). Although this was our first visit, we were made to feel like we were appreciated. I know that the owner reads these reviews (thank you so this is my chance to say honestly: please continue with a monthly or weekly special (monthly is fine for us at a reasonable price. I think that would make THO our go-to place when in Paso !!"
