"As response to the below comment that westwind and Fabio are amazing. Is completely untrue! I was a customer that day and witnessed the owner yelling at children for taking apples off of the tree. The children were around 5 or 6 years old and are unable to read signs. You might want to reevaluate an apple tree in the middle of the establishment. I saw the interaction between the owner and the mother and it was uncalled for. The absurd thing this all happens on a their first day of their kid friendly Sunday event. And to be honest their were no employees that asked those children to stop as I had a daughter their with a group of her friends that were sitting at the table next to the tree. They did not hear or see anyone approach them. I am a local customer and having been going their for years with my children and will not be going there again. On another note the manager Hannah K. that responded to review did not even see what transpired and came out after the fact so please going forward you should be honest and respectful to your customers."

"I dined at this restaurant with my family and a friend. We had a mostly positive experience. The food was delicious, but I am giving it four stars because my wife's steak was overcooked and my children's chicken tenders were overdone. Despite that, they still enjoyed their meals. I personally had the chicken with mashed potatoes, sausage, and peppers and it was fantastic. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and rustic, although it can get a bit loud. The service was excellent. Linda, the host and owner, was friendly and welcoming. She made sure to seat us quickly, even on a busy night without a reservation, as we had young children with us. Our server, Sean, was wonderful. He was professional, friendly, and added to our overall dining experience with his warm hospitality. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"The food at this restaurant is good, with a typical diner menu. The portions are a little smaller, which can be a good thing, and the prices are great. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with lots of locals, some even in pajamas. There is plenty of parking available, and the food came out quickly and hot. However, the waitress was not very good, which is why I am only giving it 4 stars. She seemed overwhelmed and flustered during a rush, didn't check on us after we ordered, never refreshed our coffee, messed up my wife's order and couldn't be caught to correct it. We had to chase her down and even then, she didn't fix it right away. Despite this, the food was still good and the prices reasonable, so we would consider returning."

"I really like everything about Saunderskill Farm: the soups, the sandwiches, salads, pies, donuts, jams, fresh produce, household decor, and the staff. You can eat there or take it home. Everything is made with fresh ingredients straight from thefarm.I would move across the way just to be able to shop there all the time."

"Staff even remarked that their performance would improve once their shifts ended. All activities were fully booked before we arrived, but we were told we couldn't make any reservations until after check-in. When we raised these concerns with management, the response was disheartening; we were simply told that we could leave early if we wished. Instead of addressing our issues, we received a dismissive reply stating, "You knew the price when you booked." There was no apology or attempt to enhance our experience. If you need room repairs, be prepared to call the front desk multiple times and wait up to two hours for any assistance. Ultimately, we decided to leave after less than 24 hours. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breathtaking view of the expansive grassland and the minimalist furniture. If you enjoy enduring challenges or thrive on discomfort during your weekend getaways, this might be the perfect place for you! Enjoy!"
