"We were upstate for the weekend and were truly looking forward to our dinner at Inness. The resort was clearly busy with a wedding taking place and upon arrival to the restaurant, we were told that we would need to wait 10 minutes for our table. We agreed and had not problem with the wait so we proceeded to the bar to order a cocktail. While waiting we saw two other parties that arrived after us be seated and after 30 minutes, we checked back in with the host. The host said they had been dealing with things and we then waited another 10 minutes for a table to clear before we were seated. Our server didn 't know menu items and wasn 't able to get clarity or details. And, several of us used the bathroom while there and asked twice to have the towels in the bathroom restocked which never was completed. We ended up taking our napkins to the bathroom to use as towels. At the end of the evening we gave feedback to the host who we learned was also the GM and the response was the team is new and I knew this would be a tough night as the doors opened, thank you for the feedback, have a good night. It is clear that the restaurant at Inness needs better management to manage seatings (minimize wait as they are able), train staff (don 't put staff in situations they are not trained to manage), maintain the restaurant throughout the evening (restock bathroom towels) and handle customer service. As we walked out of the restaurant the host/general manager scurried by us with their bag and waved goodnight. Really disappointing and as a result, I would never recommend going to this restaurant. Read reviews on the hotel where you will find a slew of insights on the restaurant. I wish we would have done that before our visit."

Went here a few weeks ago for my boyfriend's birthday. Everyone was so attentive! Wine and Bev list AMAZING naturally as the Bev director is a talented selector and all the food was delicious! Would recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food, the vibes, you can't go wrong. The restaurant wasn't listed until much later so many reviews on Inness itself. Often come here from nyc and I bring as many friends as I can. Highly recommend a sunset visit. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is soulful and the views are amazing! All the dishes we got were great, especially the marinated mushrooms, pomodoro pasta, and the dark chocolate mousse. The servers are very nice and the place has a farm-to-table vibe. Would highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

Absolutely amazing dinner! You’re first greeted in a room with a view of the horizon and the wonderful smells of the open kitchen. The cocktail menu is sophisticated and playful. The dinner menu is inclusive and satisfying. The bread, snapper, and heirloom tomatoes are musts for starters. I highly recommend the pasta as a main. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Great golf and views. Terrible vegan menu options. Nothing labeled on the menu as vegan, and when the vegetable dish was modified to remove the cheese it’s like the kitchen forgot how to cook. I love vegetables, but the bitter squash that was served was borderline inedible, albeit for one or two bites of zucchini that had some nice char. The sunset was incredible and there was a really nice service and atmosphere. Food: 1

Overpriced and underwhelming. The presentation is beautiful but the food doesn’t match the price. The pasta was overcooked and fish was fishy. The wine list they show you starts at $95 a bottle but they sell other wines by the bottle that they don’t list. We only found out after our first round that we could’ve gotten a bottle of any of the wines by the glass as well, but they are not listed on the wine list!?! I would go back for a glass of wine, a beautiful view and then quickly head to Ollie’s for amazing pizza. View menu

Exactly as photos picture the inside. Parking is pretty bad even though there’s a large amount, we had to park on the road where it clearly wasn’t meant to be parked. A little undeveloped on the outside, you can tell land was purchased and it was newly built but there’s dirt and dust which is out of context for Upstate NY. It reminded me of the California dessert structurally and otherwise, which again is a little out of context for its location. Good food, somewhat friendly staff? Servers didn’t know if the food contained dairy or gluten, which was odd seeing as the menu had 5 entrees only.

A very nice restaurant with a really interesting menu. I went for scallops which were outstanding.... a really clever dish. My wife had sweet potatoes which again were excellent. My main was fluke with greens which was an enjoyable dish but personally would have enjoyed something like potatoes with it. Which leads me to my only gripe with the restaurant.... some of the service really wasn't great. The food is highend and really should be celebrated with some explanation of the dish on delivery.... rather than being plonked down (in the wrong order). But the biggest annoyance was at the end the waiter standing over me waiting for me to finish my desert after collecting my wife's plate. That's...
