"This is my second time eating at The Black Sheep and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this restaurant. The food is cheap considering what you get (have not had one dish here I didn’t think was amazing) and the service staff are friendly and attentive. Our food came out fast both times here and it is clear that the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Though the atmosphere of this establishment does not quite beat out the competition, the food takes The Black Sheep soaring above the rest. I highly recommend trying The Black Sheep if you’re on the fence about it."

The guy at the Renegade wine shop suggested we eat at The Black Sheep and we were not disappointed. The menu accommodates everyone. The service and food were top quality. We highly recommend!

Great personal service from the owner. Menu is very eclectic. I think best to go tapas style and share lots of diverse tastes. My favorites were the beet salad and potato tacos. A couple of GREAT value wines hidden in with the big budget busters.

The kitchen is excellent, offering fresh, creative, and locally sourced dishes. The staff and management are friendly, knowledgeable, and always accessible. The atmosphere is casual, fun, and funky. This has quickly become my new favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu and then start all over again!
