"We went for Valentine's Day and they only offered the prix fix menu which was well rounded a little something for every taste. I had the potato leek soup which was fantastic and the 16oz rib eye medium rare. The meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender and flavorful. My wife had the beef Wellington which was also perfectly cooked and very tender. The cheese cake and Tartufo for desert were run of the mill but quite acceptable. The service was efficient but they dropped the ball by serving my soup and our deserts and coffee without spoons which we had to ask for and by serving our entrees with steak knives which I just got for myself from the server's station. The temperature outside was in the teens and we were in the back room which was drafty and not heated to a comfortable level. My wife sat with her coat over her shoulders for the whole meal. They did have a guitar soloist for entertainment but we didn't find her style or selections appealing and could have done without that. Overall I still think it was a good deal for the price and would consider trying the place again on a non holiday."

They didn't realize it was a food truck until they had visited the restaurant multiple times before. There was no food truck present. View menu

I visit this place 2 to 3 times per week. I have been dining out for years and no one has the consistency as Chris and his Executive kitchen staff as well as the wait staff and bartenders. Thank you for always making us feel #1 See you soon. BMP

We were presently surprised. The choices for brunch were ample. The food was delicious. The peach Bellini were the best. Our waitress was very efficient, she kept the coffee hot and plentiful. We were especially pleased that we weren't rushed at all. View menu

I wasn't aware that the restaurant had been poorly renovated; I was expecting an average classic dining experience instead of what felt like a truck stop. I brought a friend there for a birthday celebration, and while the outdoor grilling atmosphere was nice, I felt a bit embarrassed. However, the service was excellent.

Everyone loved their meals. The restaurant is beautiful and our waiter Effy was amazing. He was very attentive and didn’t rush us. It was quite noisy though. We sat right up front across from the music. Had I known that there was a back atrium room I would have requested to sit there. We were celebrating my husbands birthday with friends. It was difficult to talk to each other as it was loud. I would come back again. We brought a cake and had to discuss not charging us a cake cutting fee of $2.50 per slice. That was bothersome as we were a party of 8 and the manager should have just waived that without us even asking. In the end, we did enjoy our night.

"My husband and I have been coming here since it opened over 6 years ago, it was one of my favorites as I love the Porcini Mushroom sauce with Filet Mignon and my husband loved the skirt steak. $27 for me $47 for him. I guess not so bad except it used to come in a pasta bowl with slices of meat and now mine comes in a salad bowl with the meat cut into small tiny pieces and mixed into the pasta so you are unaware that you only received 2.5 slices of filet and my husbands steak was so small, a small scoop of mashed potatoes completely covered in the onion string "garnish "of which he dusted off. Needless to say he went home and had a sandwich. 8 inches long by 2 inches to 1 inch at best at the tail less than 1/2 inch thick. The best part!!!! The runner brings our meals and I don 't eat grated cheese. Ever!!!! But my dish is covered in it. I was in shock. I said I don 't eat cheese he said not at all? Really!! He takes it back and now my husband has his plate and we must wait again. He won 't touch his because I don 't have mine. Needless to say when mine arrived his was ice cold. Waiter said he would find the manager... when I asked the waiter what had happened to the portion size , he said you can talk to him about both issues. He never came to the table. Not about the screw up with my food or the downgrade in the portion size of everything. The disrespect, not even to come see if we were ok! They just lost customers. We won 't be back. Money for most is scarce these days and I won 't waste it on that. They are not the only place around, as Islip and the neighborhoods around them have plenty of others to choose from."
