"Ryan and I stopped in for some food. It was Monday afternoon and every place we drove past was closed. We were both excited to see the Boondocks was OPEN. Ryan pulled the truck into the parking lot. We jumped out and headed inside. There she was. Our bartender and cook. She was absolutely amazing. She talked with us. Kept the cold beers coming and cooked up some delicious food. She was such a sweetheart. Thank you so much Boondocks. Ryan and I had a run time at your bar. ?"

The dining experience was enjoyable overall. Our server happened to be the owner's mother, and while she was a bit eccentric, she did treat us to a complimentary brownie for dessert. We look forward to returning!

Great tavern in Northern Wisconsin! We visited with family for our Christmas reunion and had a fantastic time. I especially enjoyed the blanket roulette wheel and even managed to win some money! Service was excellent—definitely 5 out of 5! View menu

The staff here is wonderful and very friendly! The service was excellent. The curled chicken is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with the Long Island drinks that are available to take home! I definitely recommend stopping by for a drink and some food!

The worker (owner? was VERY presumptuous to take $46 in cash for a $24 bill and keep the change for a tip. His hand was quick to grab the money and the bill without us seeing it. My husband called him on it. He said he thought it was a tip. The broasted chicken was delicious but not worth a $20 tip. When we were giving him a $5 tip he tried also to take another $10 bill. We regret leaving any tip at all. Buyer beware!! Watch your cash!! Sticky fingers!!
