"THEY DO NOT TAKE OPEN TABLE RESERVATIONS! Waited 1.5+ hours for a table before giving up. (After “reservation” time) Line was at least 50 people deep. There were empty tables that were never sat. Now, I will say that our visit was the same day as the first play off game and Stevie Nicks/ Billy Joel concert, but they had more than enough time to adequately staff their establishment. Not a single acknowledgement from any staff member beyond the overworked, barback. He is the only one that would acknowledge anyone trying to ask a question. FOH/ Manager would just look right thru you."

Went there on the evening of a Ravens home game. They were very efficient despite the crowds. The food was outstanding!

The entrance was somewhat disorganized. There was no one at the host/hostess desk, which led to long lines. I had to locate a manager to inform them that we had a reservation, and after that, they were able to find us a table.

Had trouble getting seated for our reservation. Wait service was very slow. Took 10 minutes after ordering to be informed that they were out of nachos. I have never heard of a sports bar running out of nachos? Food was mediocre overall. Fries were hot and good but wings were terrible and chicken sandwich was forgettable.

The manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond, especially considering they were quite short-staffed on a night with two major events happening in Baltimore. It certainly wasn't ideal for them to be so understaffed. However, the manager shouldn't have to handle seating, taking orders, and delivering food all on his own. As for the food, it was just okay. I made a reservation through OpenTable and arrived a few minutes early, but we were seated over an hour after our reserved time. After being seated, we waited more than 30 minutes for a server to come to our table, even after we asked for someone to take our order. Eventually, we decided to leave, as it was a clear waste of our time. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Parked at the Horseshoe Casino for the Ravens game. We knew we would play in the casino post game and decided to reserve a table at this new restaurant. Unfortunately, there was no host/hostess so our reservation was useless and we had to wait in the queue. Our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. However, it took forever for food to come and, then only part of the order. It took another 10+ minutes for the remaining food. After finishing our dinner, our server was MIA another 15 minutes to close out our tab.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
