"The Dock is a real small town treasure with a solid doze of funkiness. (Who knew that Red Fish Blue Fish counts as seafront-theme decor? The menu has a solid pizza and subs foundation, with a seafood accent. The catfish is absolutely wonderful, all the more so on Thursdays when they have all-you-can-eat catfish. Other standouts include the Stromboli, which is loaded with garlic on a very nice hoagie roll. Lots of other things to explore. The other standout (at least for beer fans is Dogfish 90 minute IPA on tap. I 'd go there just for that. On our last visit we discovered something we hadn 't ordered added to the bill (corrected when pointed out . Overall, though, definitely a place that I 'd go back to."

$9.00 for two tiny pieces of fish? And only a small spoonful of coleslaw? Not worth the drive to come back!

The food and service here are outstanding. You won’t be let down. Tiffany is a lovely server who is very knowledgeable about the menu. The breadsticks are incredibly addictive!

We had a stromboli and veggie sandwich with giant cups of water. Both were good if you're expecting small-town dining! Also had a well-made and garnished spicy **** mary . Attentive and friendly service, and thank goodness something decent was open on Sunday! View menu

Cute little small town place. Great spot for a nice cold drink and good food. $10.99 catfish dinner can't beat it. Their menu seems to be very solid and a lot of good options. The catfish was really nice and lightly breaded and I also very much enjoyed the Cole slaw. No frills, just good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great little place near Lake Freeman! We stopped by on a cold wintry day of antique and gift shopping for the upcoming holidays. Bar was cozy and decorated. We were served promptly and had a wonderful holiday drink called Jingle Juice awesome! Burgers are fantastic flat patties like Schoops and Steak Shake. Lots of combos available and super bar fry options. Nice people and good food!

This place doesn't look like a powerhouse of mouthwatering delicacies when you pull up, but we were astounded! The food was seriously amazing. I got the Sicilian and it is one the sandwiches marked as popular and I can certainly see why! We live 3 hours away and I suddenly wish we lived a lot closer. Unlike previously mentioned the portions were generous and heavenly tasting. You will not regret this meal! View menu

The waitstaff was extremely attentive and friendly, which was a positive aspect of my experience. Unfortunately, the food options were mostly of low quality. Some menu items, like the fajita chicken, seemed to be frozen and pre-cooked when they could be prepared fresh for a much better flavor. Additionally, the catfish served is actually swai. Overall, the prices are quite high given the quality of the food offered.

The Dock has a unique menu and everything on it is delicious. We have not once been disappointed with their food or service. Each weeknight they have a special (taco Tuesday, wing Wednesday, etc) and it is totally worth it! Their wings are excellent as are their potato boats, pizza and breadsticks! As if this restaurant didn't have it all, they even deliver! We live out in the country and they even come to our house. The Dock is all around a 5 star experience!

"I came on a Saturday morning around 11am and scored the very last available table. I ordered the housemade biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy filled the plate. I had heard they are known for their baked goods. Since I was about to travel back to North Carolina, I got baked goods to go. They had seasonal orange icing pumpkin sugar cookies $2 ea that were so cute that I got 4 of them ! I had to try one of everything just about, so I got 2 of each type of cookie 1 for me, 1 for my husband . I think the pumpkin sugar cookies were still my favorite along with the chocolate cookies with powdered sugar. The donuts were a solid cake like donut and were good too. My favorite was the dipped chocolate. I also bought a blueberry muffin and it was chock full of blueberries! Now to the part that was worth the entire trip... the pies. Let me preface this by saying my Great Grandmother Schnepp from Colburn, IN nearby was the best pie maker on this planet. I have not had a pie like hers since she passed at the ripe age of 99 1/2. I remember her having a pie stand at the end of her counter in the kitchen with at least 1 pie in it at all times. Lisa's pie the owner brought back all those memories of my Grandmother and her pies. Lisa's pies were the closest I have ever tasted to my dear Grandmother's. My very favorite was the cherry pie. It had a slightly tart sweet perfect taste with a dusting of sugar across the top of the crust just like Grandma used to do. My next favorite was the rhubarb. Perfectly tart sweet chucks with the same crust. Last, the sugar cream. By the time I was able to eat it notice how many baked goods I had to go thru first... haha ! it was in the refrigerator a week. It was a more solid texture than I'm used to, but that could have been all that frig time. It had a perfect dusting of cinnamon on top. If you come here, do yourself a favor and take an entire pie home with you. $15 . You will be glad you did !"
