"This is the successor of Mia's. New name and possibly ownership, but else everything the same. Nice albeit inefficiently used space. As before, given the setup, the space has a strong smell of fried oil that will no doubt cling to my clothes, because there is no separate room where the omelettes etc. are made. As with Mia's still sponsored by Boar's Head, which gives an impression of the café not being an independent outfit but an appendage of a corporation. The workers seem rather aloof and alienated from their work and most certainly from the customers. It was also fairly cold on this winter day, but for this I can have sympathy given utility prices these days. In short, I don't feel super-incentivised to return. The hot chocolate is meh, but not the worst out there in the DC area. It was at best lukewarm if not tepid, so I had to ask the staff to put it in the microwave. The muffin was insufferably sweet."

A nice neighborhood coffee shop. Great cozy atmosphere. Good espresso drinks. The breakfast sandwich on English muffin was perfect.Food: 5/5

Stopped here for breakfast and was not disappointed! I had a sausage breakfast sandwich that was delicious- kept me full until way past lunchtime. Great espresso drinks, too!

My daughter (5 yrs) and I shared a yummy turkey sandwich. She had a strawberry smoothie, which she loved. And I had a cold brew. All of it was delicious! Cute little place Food: 5/5 View menu

A colleague took me out here to the only place she eats in the area while working. I can see why. My sandwich was delicious as well as the surprise cookie. My frappe was appropriately sweet. It looked nice to eat at but I opted to go back to the office.Food: 5/5

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on croissant. It was delicious. A café regular told my man to get the breakfast burrito; he said, “you won’t be disappointed .” We weren’t! The burrito was made with tricolored bell peppers, red potatoes, eggs, sausage, and cheddar! Great meal!Food: 5/5

The food and coffee were fine but one of the employees was very rude. My two year old accidentally spilled water and I asked for a rag to clean it up. She rolled her eyes at me and said oh my god before handing me paper towels. Everyone else was nice but it left a bad taste in my mouth, we will not be returning View menu

Ordered the pancakes and eggs with Turkey bacon. The pancakes were so dense and thick they had the consistency of a Magic Eraser, it was so strange. Not light and fluffy. Eggs we okay and Turkey bacon was so-so. This place consistently has business so I must have ordered the wrong thing. Probably won't order again.

Swung by during a morning walk to grab a breakfast sandwich and a latte. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. Was made in a timely manner, and was Very delicious! Croissant was fluffy, sausage was hot and cheese was nice and melty. Also got a latte which was served hot, the cup was full (compared to some places that give you half a cup of 'foam ' and had a very good flavour! Would definitely stop by again!
