"I can't quite understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. The food had a texture reminiscent of wet sand, and the meat was both greasy and gritty, which made it quite unappealing. It doesn't compare at all to the original Taco Grande in Wichita, which remains exceptional. Sadly, this location does not live up to that standard. On a brighter note, I must commend the staff—they were fantastic, which is why I'm giving it two stars."

the chicken options pretty good, but the beef is ehh. tastes like sloppy joe's to me. service is good, prices are higher than Taco Bell, but for a fast-food mexican joint, it's not too bad.

I'm visiting from Texas and had a wonderful experience overall! However, I did notice a few flies in the restaurant. The dinner was around $10 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 5. I highly recommend trying the nachos, taco burger, and chips! View menu

I had a rather enjoyable dinner, with the food rating a solid 4 out of 5. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations, earning a score of just 2. The atmosphere, which I found quite disappointing, only received a 1, which really took away from the overall experience.

The food is what I guess standard issue Mexican fast food is in Kansas. Asking for green sauce ON my burrito was beyond the staff. But, it's good and cheap. The staff is kinda weird, and the guy who gave me my food at the drive-through just creepily stared at me until I acknowledged him. Good for a quick bite to eat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Whenever I'm in town, this restaurant is my favorite place to eat. It's very family-friendly, making it an excellent choice for children. Additionally, there is RV parking available in the back, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant also complies with ADA standards, ensuring that it's accessible for wheelchair users. I usually prefer to dine in for dinner.

"Multiple people recommended Krua Thai in Abilene and I can sure see why! One of them mentioned to grab it to go and I certainly didn 't understand this was a thing. There are only about 4 to 5 tables inside, and the staff will not move them together to accommodate larger parties. Your whole party must be present to be seated but you can tell they certainly prefer you to take your food to go. Regardless, we had seven of us who chose to be seated. You can definitely tell they are authentically Thai based on this level or lack thereof service. I love that the bottom of every page in the menu states food cannot be returned if too spicy . We ordered a little bit of everything- fried spring rolls, fried shrimp rolls, fried tofu, pad see ew, pad, Thai, panang curry, and Thai basil. Everything was incredibly delicious and this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I 've had in all of Texas. Their Thai tea is one of the best quality teas I 've had the pleasure of drinking, although it wasn 't as sweet as I would prefer. I would definitely chuckle given a Thai iced tea is 2.99 while a Thai tea with no ice is 4.99. We got everything with mild spice as we were certainly scared off between the signs around the restaurant and in the menu. It was the perfect spice for me as someone who enjoys a tiny kick. When you are finished, you pay at the front and they do not take any type of tap payments. I will definitely be back every time I pass through Abilene! Although I 'll likely take it to go next time!"

"Firstly, the bridal suite in the upstairs warehouse area either lacked air conditioning or the system wasn't functioning correctly on our big day, making it uncomfortably warm. Secondly, we had brought our own cigars, and while the coordinator initially informed us that they sell cigars and that smoking was permitted outside, she later changed her tune when she saw us using a butane torch lighter—standard for cigar smokers. She claimed it was a fire hazard and questioned why we couldn't just use matches. Fortunately, one of my groomsmen pointed out that it would take an entire book of matches to light even one cigar. Thirdly, our wedding party was wrongly accused on two occasions of bringing in outside alcohol, which simply wasn't true. My best man had an empty flask that he placed on the table while we were smoking. This raised questions when the coordinator came to confront us about the lighter. Additionally, because we had children in our bridal party, we provided Hawaiian punch upstairs for them, and we were incorrectly accused of drinking that as well. Fourthly, while my maid of honor was in the bridal suite tidying up, the coordinator came up to interrogate her, reminding her that everything needed to be put back as it was found, and proceeded to question her about the Hawaiian punch for the kids. Fifthly, we had chosen a cash bar, and I mistakenly thought this would allow guests to open a tab with a card. As a result, all of our guests ended up using the main bar, which closed down very early because of the confusion. There were several other issues with how customer service was managed, but I don't want to go into all of them. Having worked as head of security for a major bar/event venue in Fort Worth, I’ve never encountered such poor customer service—especially considering we had just paid $2,500 to rent part of the venue. We were respectful and courteous to the staff at The Mill, but we did not receive the same respect in return. Although the venue itself is beautiful, the customer service needs significant improvement. Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend hosting your wedding here."
