I had lunch here for my birthday on a Sunday, and the food was amazing! I can't wait to come back to Memphis to savor this incredible soul food once more. I particularly loved the fried catfish and sweet tea.

Don?t let the parking-lot entrance and behind-the-mens-club location deter you from coming here for a meal. Enormous portions, very tasty and fresh ingredients, combined with delightful service. We were hesitant at first and happy we went for it!

This restaurant was a bit difficult to locate, especially since it was after midnight and it seemed to be one of the few establishments still open, perhaps the only one. The food, however, is outstanding—truly 5-star quality and extremely impressive. View menu

Excellent Service. Phenomenal Food. Safe Environment. Great for first dates and friendly gatherings. The patio is amazing most of the year, even in the winter (when temps are not figid). There is also an event center for rental purposes. Love the Steaks and the Shrimp and Grits.

WHO EVER GOT THEIR GRAND-DADDY BACK THERE COOKING THESE RIBS.. THIS DONT MAKE NO SENSE.. THESE RIBTIPS ARE SO TENDER, JUICY, WELL SEASONED, AND COOKED TO PERFECTION.... MANNN... WE SHARED ONE SERVING BETWEEN 3 PEOPLE AT WORK.. WE WILL BE GOING BACK FORTHESE RIBLETS AGAIN.. AND THE CHEF SALAD WAS VERY NICE AS WELL.. THANKS IN ADVANCE..

The food was amazing? this is the best shrimp and grits I?ve had in Birmingham. It?s reasonable too unless your ordering a drink. I asked for a apple crown and cranberry which was only ten dollars, which I thought was a deal until she gave me aMouthwash sized cup and it still had ice??? I wish I was exaggerating? The food was incredible! This is the best shrimp and grits I've ever had in Birmingham. The prices are reasonable, unless you order a drink. I ordered an Apple Crown and cranberry, which was only ten dollars—a great deal, or so I thought—until the server handed me what looked like a mouthwash-sized cup, and it was still filled with ice! I'm not exaggerating. After that experience, I didn’t even want to stay. I would only recommend this place for takeout.

The bartender on the bar side was incredibly disappointing. It was my first time encountering her, and she is the main reason I'm writing this review. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes before she even acknowledged my presence. She was slow and seemed completely uninterested. If the bar on the club side hadn't been open, I likely would have left after my first drink. Unfortunately, it seems that customer service is often lacking in some black-owned businesses. It feels like they don’t appreciate your presence; instead, they act as if it’s an obligation for you to be there.

The bartender on the bar side was TRASH! Absolute! It was my first time seeing her there but she is the reason for the review. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes before she said a word. Slow moving and totally disinterested. ???? If the bar on the club sidewasn't open I would have left after that first drink. Customer service is not really a thing in black owned businesses! Theydon't act like they are happy you are there...they act as if we are supposed/have to be there. Sick of it and would rather notspend my money there. unfortunately you're going to get the same service at every strip club on the west side.
