"This is a fantastic family-owned bakery that offers incredible value for both lunch and snacks. The prices are unbeatable for the quality of the products. The pepperoni rolls are perfectly made, and the bread tastes and feels completely homemade. Their pizza slices are truly some of the best you'll find anywhere! The staff is always friendly, making you feel like a long-time customer from the moment you walk in."

"I took my family here to get lunch. I do have an interracial family…. it was not busy at all. Our waiter was an older white women. It hurt very much to see the look on my kids face because I decided to leave before ordering after sitting for 20min. The waiter was very rude and did not want to take our order. Just kept looking at us and walking by. The host which was a woman of color told our waiter to take our order the older white women still did not even come to our table. Very disappointed by this place. I would hate to think it was racism but that was my first thought."

"Okay. This is my first rating since moving to MI and WOW! Okay. Only one thing went wrong all the times I’ve been here. They messed up egg whites and had to remake them but my wife already received and finished her food, my food still wasn’t remade. She was also leaving for a road trip and we were kinda in a hurry. But, it happens. They were awesome and tried to give us some cookies as an apology but that wasn’t needed. They are awesome, the cooks are artists and the wait staff is really friendly and approachable. Will always be my first go too."

"Totally a Michigan diner located on Dix Hwy. Easy to find and ok food. Parking isn’t easy but not a big deal. I had the country fried steak, and unfortunately the gravy was ice cold. I think the breading and the steak overall was overcooked leaving me with not the best breakfast. Good coffee, good service, but there are so many diners in the area, you can probably find better. I like Zorbas on Fort St in Riverview better. Parking: Usually hard to find parking here. "My wife is from south of Detroit. We were in town over the weekend and had dinner here with family. With my love for Central European cuisine and the high recommendations, there was no way I could pass this place up. My aim was to sample as much as I could ... and mission accomplished. The appetizers included the Hortobagyi Palicsinta and paprikas chicken wings. The sauce used on the Hortobagyi was thick and delicious. To continue with my mission, I obviously opted for the Hungarian combination plate (bring on the paprikas sauce ... amazing as my main course. Everything came out hot, fresh and cooked with love. I also ordered a cup of the Hungarian Goulash. There are many versions of Goulash recipes that derive from Central Europe and that I've had the pleasure to sample, both here in the US AND across the pond ... and this version has to rank up there with the best! The mixture of tender beef and potatoes (topped with dumplings was stewed to perfection and was an absolute culinary delight. I somehow dug deep and was able to sample some dessert. The Kremes was the ideal cherry on top, due to its light vanilla custard and pastry dough on the top and bottom (sort of like a Napoleon . The service was great and the cozy atmosphere makes this a very welcoming place, especially during the Michigan winters. Shout out to the owner for coming by on multiple occasions to check on us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town for more cuisine, and more Apricot Palinka Cocktails ."
