"Nice establishment. Clean, and somewhat friendly. I did NOT like paying the bill AND gratuity before I am even seated. I have no earthly idea where this concept came from. In my opinion, it is total garbage. This made me skeptical of what was to come,and I was not surprised at all. Servers were plentiful, but at the same time scarce. BTW, I only saw three other tables withcustomers, and no one eating at the bar. 8pm on a Tuesday. What came next was not a shock either. My $14, double patty Wagyuburger was so nasty. I could SMELL the charred beef before it assaulted my tongue. I had cut it in half to handle it moreeasily, but I don't think the grill was cleaned at all today. It was as if the patties were dropped onto a public park charcoalgrill. Terribly disappointed to see such careless execution with so much effort that has been put into this restaurant. Nooption for dessert at checkin/out. Order and pay, plus tip prior to any chance of real critique. No thank you. Poor businessmodel. Yeah, won't be back anytime soon. *Disclaimer- I was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked. I doubt anyone on theplanet wants to eat a charred hockey puck, much less two."

Came to check this place out with my mom today and it is AMAZING!! Had the brisket melt and tomato bisque soup...best I have ever had, hands down! . If you haven't tried it, you must, trust me!! View menu

I had the veggie tacos, they were amazing! Everything at the Toasted Walnut is delicious! The only thing that could make it better is if you didn't have to order before you were seated.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos! Delicious!

Black curly hair in my food. Manager couldn 't careless, didn 't apologize or have any care to replace the dish. Waited 15 minutes for manager to come over after telling the waitress. One kitchen worker who was touching food on the grill did not have any hair covering/hat. Gross and rude. What a disappointment.

This restaurant has hit a home run. The food taste and quality is top tier. The staff is extremely nice and friendly and the chef took the time to greet our table and ask how our meal tasted. My personal two favorites are the Nashville hot chickensandwich and the hot pimento cheese dip. Very well decorated and a great place to take your significant other or family to eat. View menu

I wanted to visit Toasted Walnut Cafe for a while, today was the day!! What an experience. I was greeted by Chef Joey, who was very friendly and helpful. He knows his food, you can say it's his passion. I ordered the Italian and the Brisket sandwich. Both were amazing, the best sandwiches I ever had. The vinaigrette on the Italian was beyond yummy. And the bread... WOW! I'll be back later.

Great as always! Love this place. Joey has hit a home run. The food is delicious. He has his regular menu items, which are each delicious, and then, he has a little portion of the menu with rotating, seasonal options generally a pasta option, a meat (steak or pork chop) option, and some classic, homestyle dish option. My fave dish on the menu is the Brisket Patty Melt. Mmmmmmm...The atmosphere is so delightful, too. The inside is decorated so well. There is also a patio in the back, which is nice.I just love that this little gem is so close to home, right here in Celina.
