"The star of the night was undoubtedly the Szechuan eggplant. It was perfectly cooked—soft and smothered in a delicious sauce. The spices and seasonings provided a delightful kick, making it the highlight of our meal. I highly recommend trying this dish when you visit Emerald Chinese Cuisine. The salt and pepper chicken was another winner. The chicken had a perfect crispy exterior and was juicy inside, with seasoning that struck the right balance of salty and slightly spicy. The accompanying dipping sauce was an excellent complement and left us wanting more. The chicken fried rice was a classic choice that certainly didn’t disappoint. The rice was fluffy and well-cooked, and the chicken was both flavorful and abundant. While it may not have been the most adventurous option, it was genuinely tasty and satisfying. The Mongolian beef also stood out for its tender, flavorful meat and a delicious sauce that enhanced the dish perfectly. We couldn’t get enough of it. Unfortunately, the Singaporean noodles fell short of our expectations. They lacked the authentic flavors we were hoping for and didn’t stand up to the other dishes. While not terrible, they simply didn’t have the rich and complex tastes we anticipated. On a positive note, the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, featuring modern and inviting décor that made our dining experience enjoyable. Overall, our visit to Emerald Chinese Cuisine at Jamul Casino was quite enjoyable. The Szechuan eggplant, salt and pepper chicken, chicken fried rice, and Mongolian beef were all fantastic, though the Singaporean noodles were a bit of a letdown. If you’re in the mood for delicious Chinese cuisine with plenty of options, I highly recommend checking out Emerald Chinese Cuisine."

Went for the Expensive Buffet, BIG Disappointment, Though the Crab Legs were Good. Maybe I will Try from the Regular Menu One Day In Order to Change my Rating.

Zero. Zero. I mean zero stars but it's not option. Left over, cold, salt and pepper pork. I've never returned food but gave them a chance. Waited and waited and waited. Turns out they didn't put my order in. Left and will never go back.

The food is excellent! The service could definitely use improvement. The ambiance is pleasant—it's a bit loud, but that’s expected since it’s located inside Jamul Casino. Overall, I don’t have much more to add, except that the salt and pepper mussels and calamari are delicious. View menu

Everything at Tony Gwynn’s is a delight. The food is delicious, the portions are ample, and the staff is welcoming. They have screens in the booths to keep you updated on the game while you savor your meal. Initially, I hesitated at the price of the spicy fried chicken sandwich, but when it arrived, I realized it could easily serve two people and is definitely worth it! We were really excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. No one came to check on us, and we had to flag down someone at the bar to take our order. There was no follow-up, and we weren't even provided with napkins or silverware. Angelina was polite and seemed to be the only staff member who understood the situation, but she kept suggesting we simply take our food to go. My husband and I were looking forward to a nice date night, not waiting over 40 minutes for takeout. I wish I could say the food made up for the poor service, but it was just mediocre at best. Overall, we were very let down.

If you're at Jamul Casino and craving Asian cuisine, this is an excellent spot to satisfy your hunger. You have the option to dine in or order takeout, and the prices are quite reasonable. Casino players can even enjoy a discount. The portion sizes are generous, and the food quality meets expectations. Keep in mind that, being located in a casino, the atmosphere can get a bit noisy. If you prefer not to sit down, you can place your order at a kiosk located outside to the right. They also offer boba and Vietnamese coffee if you're in the mood for something sweet. I highly recommend trying the Angus pepper beef, salt and pepper squid, and the vegetables! View menu

This buffet is pretty great! My friend and I visited Tony Gwynn's on a Saturday. They had lobster prepared in 3 different ways, crab prepared in 3 different ways, steak, oysters, shrimp, and much more. The atmosphere is relaxing and comforting. The service was excellent! Our server checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. There are TVs along the wall and bar, so you have a variety of things to see. The desserts were great as well. I would highly recommend this buffet if you are going to be in the Casino for an extended period of time. The only con is the price. At $75 per person, if you don't have a discount or comp for this spot, the price is too high. However, if you do...

After a few minutes, when I decided to order a shot of Don Julio, the bartender handed me an old, bent red binder filled with Pokémon and baseball cards. Inside, there were just five pictures of cocktails with no prices or descriptions. It felt so bizarre! I joked to myself that this binder reminded me of my childhood Pokémon collection. After he made my tequila shot, he asked if I wanted to try a cocktail from the binder. I thought, why not, and chose the blue drink. It ended up being really delicious! However, when he handed it to me, he asked, “Where's the other person? You’re only supposed to have one drink.” I was confused because I had never mentioned anyone else. I asked him why he d...
