"One important thing to note about this restaurant is that it has unique operating hours that are shorter than what you might expect. It’s a place you’ll need to plan to visit, so be sure to check their hours and website before heading out. It's not the type of place where you can just drop by at any time and expect it to be open. The experience feels very personal and cozy. I won’t delve into specific food choices because the menu frequently changes, making it hard to recommend something that may not be available during your visit. This is part of what I love about the place—it’s always different, and you can trust that the chefs know what they're doing, so you're unlikely to go wrong here. One dish they're particularly famous for is their baked mac and cheese. It’s phenomenal and has remained on the menu for quite some time. I highly recommend trying it, and you can even add chicken if you like. Now, I know this might sound trivial, but I really enjoyed their garlic aioli. I'm not sure if it’s a regular offering, but if it is, be sure to get it on the side with whatever you order. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite dark—not too small, but also not too large. You'll be aware of the conversations happening around you. It's clean, comfortable, and romantic while also being family-friendly, though it’s not the kind of place where kids are running around. The aroma of delicious food fills the air. The service was excellent—helpful, patient, and ready to assist you if you have any questions. The restrooms were clean, and street parking is available."

Always amazing food. Eclectic and delicious. Adventurous ones should try chicken liver mousse.

Our favorite date night spot! Super cute, quiet atmosphere with friendly staff. The seasonal menu is always delicious. I've never had a bad experience at Triskele's.

First time here. We ordered the cauliflower mac and cheese with bacon. It was ok, I thought it was to salty. We also ordered the blue cheese toast, we did like this, it was different.

Very nice casual spot with good drinks, food, and service. I had the green Thai chicken curry and my wife had the steak and they were both excellent. The draft selection is good as well. View menu

The calamari here is the freshest I've ever tasted, and I was truly impressed. The tap selections are fantastic as well. Other dishes, like the mussels and Caesar salad, consistently earn a solid 10/10 every time I visit.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Tuesday, which is mussel night! They were also offering deals on glasses of wine and draft beer. For everything you see in the picture (a glass of wine, a beer, a full order of mussels, and fries), it only cost $22! We arrived around 7 PM and sat at the bar. It wasn't crowded at all, so our food came out quickly! I will definitely be returning for more mussels!

The chowder was, without a doubt, my favorite dish! It was creamy, salty, and comforting—all the qualities you want in a chowder. Plus, it was loaded with shrimp, and not the tiny ones, but medium-sized ones. I’m definitely coming back just for this and to try the mussels! As for the truffles, they were perfect and melted in your mouth! The initial taste was of coffee, and then it just dissolved beautifully. They are undoubtedly some of the best truffles I've ever had. I can't wait to return! View menu

Updated Review: I've lost track of how many times I've been to this restaurant, but since COVID started and they transitioned to curbside pickup a few days a week, I've made it my mission to support them by ordering as often as possible. I've been enjoying Triskeles' food since 2011, and I've never had a bad experience or meal—not one. For nine years, I’ve dined here, but I rarely spoke to the owners until the pandemic hit. Suddenly, my favorite spot was closed, and I was genuinely worried they might not reopen. I was thrilled when they announced curbside pickup! Jolinda and Lynn, I may not know you well, but you feel like family to me. I can't wait for the day I can dine inside again!

We visited this restaurant to try their fish fry, and we also ordered the Shrimp Chowder and truffles. The fish fry was very tasty, although it could use a bit more seasoning. It seems like many places forget to finish the batter with salt after frying. That said, you could really appreciate the beer flavor—it was light and the fish had nice, flaky pieces with a wonderful texture that held together well. The chowder was by far my favorite dish; it was creamy, salty, and comforting—everything you want in a chowder—and it was loaded with medium-sized shrimp, not the tiny ones! I’m definitely planning to return just for that and the mussels! The truffles were incredible as well; they melted in...

"This restaurant was really trying to be the third coast by dumping the entire ocean 's worth of salt into their dishes. I have never been so thirsty in my life the day after I ate here. With the number of great reviews on top of the beautiful interiors, I had such high expectations for this restaurant that I happily brought my partner and his father (who traveled from out of the country to visit to the restaurant. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment for bringing them here, only to be given overpriced and oversalted food. The only redeeming factors of the restaurant were the interior design (absolutely gorgeous , the potholes (delicious but still salty , and our waitress who served us in the mezzanine on 10/8 (I forgot her name, sorry! . When we first got our appetizer--the mushrooms, we were literally eating a spoonful of salt at a time. I RARELY send back food, but I had to send the mushrooms back before the dish induces any hypertensive emergency among us. After we got the new mushrooms dish after telling our waitress we wanted just 1/4-1/3 of the salt, the dish still came back extremely salty and the waitress said the cook apologized for ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE-SALTING THE DISH. I 'm sorry, but WHAT. All of our subsequent dishes then tasted all just like salt without a hint of other seasoning. I wasn 't sure if it 's because our tastebuds were so skewed after eating so much salt that our remaining dishes just didn 't taste that great. It was just salty. Anyways we walked out with a $260 bill for three people which was outrageous for this quality of food in Milwaukee of all places. I 'm not sure how people are raging about this restaurant. I have sworn to never return and have told others to avoid going to this restaurant altogether. Opt for somewhere else for better quality food that 's actually worth the cost."
