"I was excited to try them with all the stellar reviews. I personally had a really awkward experience with the service. I had tried to call in an order to pick it up well before they closed but nobody answered. I got to the shop around 735-740 before they closed at 8. I walked in to a slippery floor and chairs put up (I was in service industry for several years in my early days so I get it). I asked the girl if it was still ok to place a Togo order so I did. I asked a question only to feel silly asking it. I could tell that she did not want to be there, maybe she had a bad day. Right as I left at 750 she locked the door. The food I ordered was great, a Balboa for me and a Drago for a coworker."

I'm sure this restaurant is way above average for those from the Philadelphia area. I have visited a few times and have also been to Subway.

Phenomenal cheese steak. I had the Balboa. The meat and whiz were everything I had hoped for, but the bread made the sandwich. I'll be back again, and again...

I am disappointed that last Friday was the last day the restaurant was open. Good luck in the future and I hope to see any pop-up events you may have. You will be missed!

I love their sandwiches! They're always delicious.Tip: This was the first time I'd had it delivered and I highly recommend you don't do that as the bread was very soggy by the time it got to me. View menu

Very nice place. Clean. Staff was friendly. Cheese steak was very good. Served hot and delicious. The garlicky Parmesan french fries were VERY good and could be addicting. Hope to try more of their menu. Best Wishes.

I just had Way South Philly Deli for the first time today. It's lunch now and I want to go back for dinner. The meat, the bread, the peppers, the onions, all dancing in perfect harmony. It felt like a meal and a religious experience. Service was as great as the food, can't wait for my next cheese steak.

I 've been searching for the perfect cheesesteak in Austin, and found some that are pretty darn close but this is the place! The rolls are really fresh and tastyThe fillings are really great and high quality and they really give you a good portionI had the Tommy Gunn with extra cheese, and my wife had the Mickey and both were awesome. The only thing i would do next time is get 2 sides of fries because it was sized more for one person vs a basket View menu

They were closed during their advertised business hours. Why would I recommend a place that may not even be open? My wife had one of their sandwiches last week and didn't like it. She says Jersey Mike's is better. Even though this restaurant is only a couple blocks away from where I live, there are so many other places that offer cheesesteaks that I can't see this place standing out. I may stop by eventually, but I won't go out of my way to get there if I'm in the mood for a good cheesesteak.

Well there Phillies taste awesome. This last experience was disappointing. The first bite I took, I had to spit out because it had onion skin that was unchewable. I'm unhappy about paying $15 for the Paulie Philly and there seriously is way more onions than meat. Really there is barely any meat on it. It taste like I'm eating onion flavored bread.. Normally,, I love the taste but not this time. It is overpriced for the size/amount of filling that goes into the Philly. And the Mexican guy working there did not seemed discontent. The picture here shows the onion to meat ratio.
