"Haven 't been to this location but used to go to the one on Sepulveda years ago when we lived walking distance from it! Finally got the chance to check this location out a few days ago and probably went at a perfect time. I overheard some of the other customers talking about how the line usually wraps around to the end of the room where the restrooms are. Luckily we were second in line when we got there and already knew what we wanted. I noticed their list of coffee brews for the day and asked the young worker about the Hawaiian hazelnut and if it had macadamia in it or what made it Hawaiian and he had no clue and had to ask someone in the back. He came out still confused and proceeded to just tell me it had macadamia probably to get me off his case. I ordered it iced anyway just to try it and ordered my Egg-Ala-Bagel in a Jalapeño Cheese Everything Bagel. My bf got a wheat bagel with some kind of berry cream cheese and hash brown and we took our order home to enjoy. Perfectly wrapped in foil to keep it warm, and even sliced in half already! I love that I didn 't have to ask because I usually forget to, especially if I 'm on the road. Super delicious! I 'm terrible with spice but I think the jalapeños give it that nice, extra flavor that 's needed. Honestly wish I could add extra Everything Bagel Seasoning but it was super delicious and would love to come back more often to try their other stuff. IG: @ammysalamii"

This restaurant is in a great location, but the service is very slow. Every time I go there, the line is out the door.

Horrible service!! They insult their customers openly in front of everyone! Low quality bagels! And their small bagel is cost way more than anywhere!!I’d suggest not supporting this business at all!

The employees at this restaurant are very unfriendly. They don't seem willing to help or serve customers, and when they finally do, they seem bothered by you. It's unfortunate that the other store is so far from my home.

My first time visiting Western Bagel. I had the jalapeno bagel toasted with cream cheese. They have different varieties like chocolate chip, strawberry, plain, egg, onion, and everything bagels. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. View menu

Honestly F this location. Put in an order the day before for a work function. Go to pick it up and they lost the order, NO apologies, NO effort to make it right. The manager was rude and dismissive. Pass on choosing this location for your large orders.

Ordered ahead, one bagel and one tub of cream cheese in the afternoon. 20 mins later, they did not have it ready, and no one knew about my order. Then they looked in another area and found my order ticket, so I wanted another 7 mins for them to make it. Def not impressed. To boot, just opened my bagel, and it was not even the right kind.

I was out Christmas shopping last week and while driving up Sepulveda Boulevard, I came across the Western Bagel store. I decided to stop in and was not disappointed. I bought a dozen assorted bagels, including a couple of pizza bagels, and also got a huge cinnamon roll. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this store. View menu

After driving home i realized they made a mistake, and they asked me to drive back and return the bagels that already left the store? Instead of giving me a new bagel for my time, they decided to not compensate me, which is not the service i would expect coming from a business that is producing their inventory for pennies... definitely wont be back, should have went with Mediterranean.

Been a while since I've gone. I would always to to the Van Nuys location. Came into today. And didn't like the manager on duty. Didn't catch her name but she was short and wearing glasses.Unprofessional to her staff and demanding things from them. She made one employee put Splenda and utensils and I over heard her and when he finished she said that's wasn't what she asked for. Definitely not coming to anytime son if management can't treat there staff Correct.

"EMIE'S RESTAURANT is a busy eatery that is well-known for it's breakfast menu. We went in the evening to try their Mediterranean vegan/conventional menu. Emle's food is light, not oily, salty, or saucy. Our server, Omer, did an excellent job explaining each dish. As an appetizer, we ordered the breaded and fried portobello mushrooms. It was served with a lovely garlic sauce. All four of us enjoy this vegan specialty. I found the vegan vegetable plate to be ample and satisfying. The house-made pita, served with the plate, is delicious. The other guests also enjoyed their meals, however, one guest found the lobster risotto too rich. One caution: the bread dip cantains cheese and is therefore not vegan. There where no vegan desserts on the menu. Covid masks are required for entry. UPDATE: Sam, the new owner, has polished the menu. Not a lot was changed. There's a new chef. Our meals tasted a smidgen better. Sam stopped at our table to make sure everything was fine. It was. We have returned several times since this review was first published. Emie's new chef and Sam have never disappointed. Both patio and restaurant seating are available. Emle's is near California State University. Students and faculty with ID cards, are offered a discount. On Sunday, Monday, and Thursday alcohol drinks are half price. Parking, including wheelchair parking, is free and easy. Everything else, including the neutral-gender bathroom, is wheelchair accessible."

"First, I want to say this review is LONG overdue. Second, I want to say that a few years ago, I realized that eating beef or pork typically causes me severe intestinal distress, so I very rarely eat either. And lastly, it?s imperative to say that I am perhaps the pickiest eater on the planet. My adult sons tell me my food palate is that of a toddler ? I won?t eat, or even try most foods, including eggs, seafood, fish, or foods that look weird or have mushy textures (like mushrooms or tofu), in addition to a litany of other foods, so if I write a positive food review, rest assured, the restaurant, and food, was phenomenal. Months ago, I was invited to Los Angeles, with my friend of more than thirty years, Martha. On our first evening, we went to eat at Buenos Aires Grill with her aunt, uncle, mom, and cousins ? in total, we were a party of seven. All of the food ordered was shared, family style. Since I had heard so much about the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try everything ? and clearly, I (almost) did. Since Martha had eaten there before, and she knows my likes and dislikes, I requested she place the order on my behalf. We started with the empanadas. OH, MY GAWD? THESE empanadas are the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER eaten ? EVER? E.V.E.R. and I have lived in Cuba, México, and Spain? The empanadas are sheer PERFECTION? they APPEAR to be fake ? they are absolutely flawlessly shaped and baked? their crust is neither too thin nor too thick. The filling was drool inducing and I, honestly, genuinely, doubted the taste could be improved, but once I topped the empanada with the chimichurri, if I would have died, in that moment, I would have rested in peace as the happiest human on Earth. She also ordered both the Quesos Fundido and Provoleta and the Chimichurri and (French) Bread (baguette) ? I LOVE CHEESE, and French bread, but, once again, I am PICKY ? and skeptical of new foods. Both the cheeses caused my salivary glands to go into elated overdrive. The union of cheese, chimichurri, and the baguette? TO DIE FOR. I don?t know if Martha ordered the Manolo or Buenos Aires Parrilla, but I ate a bite, or two, of each and every single one of the elements. Despite having lived in Texas since 1990, and as an individual who has eaten countless steaks, ribs, sausages, and chorizo, I have never eaten more deliciously seasoned, epically prepared, and perfectly grilled bites of beef and pork. In addition to the meat, the parrillas were accompanied by mashed potatoes, French fries, Spanish rice, and sautéed vegetables. HOLY MOLY ? each side was mouthwatering, scrumptious, delightful. Fearing I would not want to eat the meat, based on the aforementioned explanation, Martha also ordered the Spinach Cheese Ravioli and the Chicken Alfredo? I have eaten A LOT of pasta dishes in my day? I was raised to believe I was 50% Italian (thanks to 23andMe, I now know that is false). In any case, I?m confident t"
