"You can definitely taste the smokiness, especially in the pulled pork, though it's not overpowering. The sauce is on the mild side – sweet but not overly spicy, which I don’t mind, though I would have preferred a touch more heat to balance out the sweetness. I found the pulled pork sandwich needed a bit more sauce, as it was a little dry for my taste. I wanted to try the brisket as well, but unfortunately, they were out of it today. As for the sides, the potato salad was decent – not too vinegary or mayo-heavy, but it could use a bit more seasoning and was on the sweeter side. The beans were flavorful, but had an odd rubbery texture, like cooked barley, along with something grainy that I just couldn’t identify. This place is a stand without seating—though some picnic tables would be nice, it might not be allowed in this location. It wasn’t an issue for me since I just took everything home to enjoy later. Despite the mediocre sides, I’m definitely planning on returning because the meat is the star here. Next time, I'll focus on the meat and consider adding a kick of heat to the sauce!"

Good Q. I tried the ribs which were good but not as good as the pulled pork. Wife liked the smoked salmon.

I've eaten BBQ all over the South and Kansas City. The chicken was tender and that's hard to do. The rib meat fell off the bone and very tasty although I prefer my ribs a little dry and the sausage was great. Sides were very good and the BBQ sauce had the right mix of heat and sweetness. Overall 5 stars straight up.

Completely unexpected, but absolutely delicious! My husband and I ordered the 5 sandwich special and enjoyed them at home with beans and chips. They appeared small, but I found that two were more than enough for me, while he was satisfied with three. It made for a fantastic lunch! We will definitely be returning for more!

Stopped on a whim, been wanting to try their BBQ for a while now. I have to say the wife and I was pleasantly surprised. Charlie and Dee were very friendly and helpful in our choices. In fact we had a small dinner party the next day and ordered our meal from them, our group loved it. One of my fav's is their smoked salmon. But don't be surprised if they sell out of your favorite, people gobble there meat quickly.

I discovered this BBQ restaurant on Yelp while searching for places to eat today, and I'm so glad I decided to stop by. The food was fantastic! I had the pulled chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and baked beans, all of which were delicious. Be sure to try the baked beans as one of your sides—you definitely won’t regret it. Both the owner and their son were friendly and provided excellent customer service. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the beef brisket soon!
