"I want to like this place. I really do. The burgers are good. Some of the sides are good. But it's a BBQ restaurant and their BBQ just isn't very good. But it's the only BBQ place near me so I keep trying. For awhile I figured out that the brisket sandwich was pretty good, so that's what I would always order. But lately, every time I go in, the brisket is dry and tough and I just can't do it any more. I easily smoke better BBQ in my backyard, but sometimes you just want to go sit somewhere and enjoy the atmosphere and a nice meal. I have sadly given up on When Pigs Fly."

Most of what we wanted were out. It's good that there's nothing in Bbq sauce. Pepsi products and country music for ppl who like that. Hot Bbq sauce is not hot. Beer options, okay.

I drive 45 minutes to this bbq place and never regret it! Some of the best baked beans, sausage and brisket I?ve ever had! 3 meats, 2 sides and cornbread for 20 bucks can?t be beat!

The Thanksgiving arrangements were fantastic. The brisket and turkey were both substantial and delicious. The staff made a real effort to ensure my satisfaction. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. Five stars! View menu

A country-style experience, with music, atmosphere and food in old time country style. The brisket was cooked for perfection. The taste was fantastic. It was just so good that some of the menu items were sold and the service was a little less perfect.

Good brisket sandwich, decent ribs but I've had lots better, good bbq beans and coleslaw. The sassy bbq sauce was my favorite of the three. The macaroni and cheese was more like cheese whiz with a handful of macaroni in it. Not doing that one again. Next to try: the pulled pork sandwich, burnt ends, handcut fries, and macaroni salad.

I tried the shrimp Po'boy rolls, which were quite large and had a texture reminiscent of slightly stale bread. However, overall, the sandwich was packed with flavor. The sauces, especially one called Sassy Sauce, were pretty tasty. The mac and cheese was excellent, and the coleslaw was good, though it could have used a bit more pepper. Excellent barbecue! I ordered the two-meat combo with two sides and cornbread for $17. The portions were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I chose BBQ beans and garlic mashed potatoes as my sides, and everything tasted fantastic. The four different sauces available at the table really enhanced the meal. My wife opted for the pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and she loved it as well. We'll definitely be returning!

Overly expensive and food was not presented as what I ordered. I paid $18 for burger with blue cheese and fries. Fries were barely warm and undercooked. Burger did not have blue cheese. When I finally got the attention of wait personal she verified that burger should have blue cheese and provided hot fries. Manager was to give me refund for burger but did not because I ate some of it. Really??? The only reason I ordered the meal was for the blue cheese. Last visit.
