"The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic; however, it's located in a pretty chaotic part of town. It's not the restaurant's fault, but it's disheartening to see the level of homelessness. Many young people are unfortunately left on the streets after being discharged from state programs that keep them in a state of dependence until they're 18. It's really sad to witness. On a more positive note, the hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, chili dogs, and sauerkraut dogs are all delicious!"

Although the Ice cream machine wasnt working and the employees there were without AC which by the way i think the owner should fix asap. It looked hot out in there. No employee should need to work in an environment where theres hot food without AC which by the way was super hot that day outside.

I have to confess that I have a bit of a bias towards this restaurant. My dad would often take my younger brother and me here, especially after a base open house. Later, when I was a cadet, we would sometimes walk off base to grab lunch since McClellan didn't have an exchange mall back then. While the chili cheese dogs may not be quite as fantastic as they used to be, I still enjoy coming back every now and then.
