Wood Duck - Menu

A beer and lunch. We had the sweet corn-nuggets and a meatball bottom. Both were excellent. Kate was our waitress. Great personality and enormous wealth.

This restaurant is a must-visit for everyone. I brought three different groups of friends, and everyone enjoyed it. This place is great!! The owners are amazing and unbelievably friendly. They came up to us and talked to us like they knew who we were. They were extremely accommodating and the food was top notch too! I had the grouper and the breading was light and the fish was very tasty. My daughter had the pretzel bites and they were great too! If you’re in Carlinville or traveling through, I’d highly recommend you stop here!

Kate and her team truly go above and beyond. The staff always welcomes you with a warm smile when you arrive. If you ever encounter any issues, just let them know, and they'll be more than happy to help resolve it! You can often see Kate personally engaging with customers. The food is fantastic, and she is always open to updating the menu to ensure there's variety, so you don't get bored with the same options over and over again!
