I've visited this restaurant several times, and I've always had a pleasant experience. I stopped by on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, and Mike, the bartender, was fantastic!

1st time in Philly and I tried this place. Everything was great, from the food to the music to the employees. I really enjoyed myself and would definitely visit again if I visit Philly again? View menu

My sister was spat on by Sam, the bartender! We are currently in the process of suing the establishment. The behavior we encountered was extremely disturbing and unacceptable. I can only give this place 1 star.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly, and the views of South Street are fantastic. The portion sizes for the tots plates are enormous! We ordered the tots with chili, and even with the chili and cheese sauce on top, the tots remained crispy throughout.

The beer is way overpriced. I understand making a buck but when you bargain the price of things that is a very bad business model in the restaurants and take out beer business and immediately I lost trust and then I saw a sign on the wall that said no bathrooms. View menu

Had to be the underrated champion of dive bars. I’ve had so many good times here every time I wondered why I hadn’t reviewed. I always forget because I’m having a great time! They are regular with fun beats n good drinks, prices, and good vibes without even trying. It’s rare on south st but they did it.The staff and patrons are friendly. It’s a comfortable mix of local, new, and visitors. It still retains a classic philly vibe.

This is my favorite bar stop on South Street in South Philly. This time it was an early one for lunch with my friend Barbara who eas visiting from Pottstown. The barmaid was very pleasant and conversive. We were her 1st customers at 11 a.m. Nice cold beers from the tap with a very large selection 24 I believe I counted. We ordered the Mammoth sliders beef cheese n onions they were very good. We also had cheesesteak rolls also very good and plenty of both 3 sliders n 6 rolls. A great place for Happy Hour Sports or entertainment!!.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
