"There is genuinely no excuse for what just occurred from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees only a single item was acceptable we ordered Pepsi and received a glass of flat soda that vaguely tasted like Pepsi for our appetizer we ordered shrimp tempura and received 2 pieces of shrimp one of which was not deveined coated in batter that was somehow too thick and too moist the vegetables were generally off putting for whatever reason they were fried and completely flavorless we then ordered the chicken and shrimp combination box with miso soup and a salad and received a bowl of soup? I 've had miso soup many times but never have I had it separate into layers before it 's even placed on the table it was tolerable at best but not at all what you would expect the salad was standard albeit a bit small no complaints there the entree was almost acceptable the chicken and shrimp had good flavor but the shrimp was rubbery and the rice was undercooked and some of it wasn 't fried at all but by far the worst offender of the evening was their volcano rolls it came in a plastic box and appeared fine at first glance upon opening the box the pungent aroma of fish essentially uppercuts you the presentation was fine but it just covered up fried seaweed wrapped around crab and tuna that hadn 't been fried with the rest of it my girlfriend couldn 't even swallow one bite without spitting it out she also ordered a side of white rice that was devoid of flavor altogether they didn 't even use butter this has been my worst dining experience in Glasgow by far altogether our bill was 50$ and all we could stomach was the chicken and shrimp there is absolutely NO REASON to eat here you 'd be better off trusting the sonic/gas station/subway combo store in horse cave I downloaded yelp just to leave this review and I 'm not just complaining for free food my experience was truly dreadful I wouldn 't go back if they paid me to eat the food -7/10 the only way it could get worse is if they had bugs in the food"

To be honest, for the price they pay against the quality and quantity they receive, they are much better going to kroger or meijers in bowling green.

Dining here is enjoyable. However, I dislike the ripped crates; they give off a cheap vibe. The prices are also higher than I prefer to pay, which is why I don't visit often. Nevertheless, I still love the food. View menu

WOW! Ridiculous prices awful customer service!! Called to complain was hung up on! Ordered the Imperial Dinner. Not only was it $6 more than listed, but it also didn't have any shrimp in it. 1 star is generous! Never again.

Great food but this place is still caught up in the covid craze.Served all the food in plastic and Styrofoam containers and flimsy plastic spoon and fork. Felt like we were on an airplane or cafeteria..not the best way to serve hot food ..

This restaurant was good. Not so after Covid. The food quality has declined and they went to using plastic forks and disposable plates. We’ve eaten there several times without improvements we hoped they would return to the quality they had. View menu

Yamato is a wonderful selection for great food at spectacular price! The staff are all very friendly; people work hard to make sure you have what you want. They have never messed my order up, even when I was ordering on the phone and unsure the dish. I highly recommend Yamato!

I can’t fault their lunch menu and prices; they are very reasonable and the portions are decent. The dressing is some of the best I’ve had—not too sweet or tangy. I’m not a fan of the miso soup, but the wobbles are okay. The baked rice and teriyaki chicken are always good. However, the lighting is quite dim, and the overall decor feels unkempt. The tables are sticky, and I’ve decided not to use their restrooms again. The place just feels sad, which is a shame because the food rarely disappoints. At least their sweet and sour dishes and rice are consistently good. I can’t speak for the sushi, as it’s been a few years since I last had it. I used to enjoy it, but not anymore after my last exper...
