"Yu Bistro is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Lamorinda. The chef possesses incredible skill and is often willing to prepare regional dishes upon request that aren’t listed on the menu. I’ve never had a dish there that I wouldn’t order again. I particularly enjoy their salt and pepper dishes and their soups. The generous portions and welcoming atmosphere, along with the fantastic food, make Yu Bistro a regular stop for us."

The Chinese food here is fantastic! The ingredients are fresh, and the sauces are delicious. It's my favorite Chinese restaurant in the East Bay, right after Great China in Berkeley. One suggestion: please dim the lighting inside; it’s a bit too bright.

The service and ambiance were both pleasant, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered wonton soup, and while the broth was tasty and the wrappers were great, the filling was quite disappointing. It had a rubbery texture and tasted like an unidentifiable mixture. I won’t be returning.
