"#FEASTWITHOUTTHEBEAST, the hastag for describing the amazing experience you 'll have dining at Sage Plant based Bistro. Every sip and bite is as delicious as it is aesthetically beautiful to Instagram. With four locations throughout LA County you will be able to enjoy seasonally farm fresh ingredients from Sow a Heart farm to table each time. Each location has a special every day uniquely catered to them. Today we visit Agoura Hills ' location, that so happened to be running a Whiskey Wednesday special. Top shelf whiskeys that are normally $40 were available for tasting for as little as $12, and Well drinks as low as $8. Such an amazing deal right? Due to the extremely hot weather that day I opted for a refreshing spicy margarita while my partner enjoyed a nice cold stout. My margarita was so refreshing, crisp and blasting full of flavor, perfect for such a hot day. It perfectly pairs well with any and everything on the menu. We also were able to sample one of their limited time honey flavored sour beers which was just as delicious. Arriving during happy hour you have a good selection for happy hour items, So Go Big or Go Home. Two baked soft pretzels is definitely a great starter to any meal. You receive 3 dipping sauces to enjoy with each bite and my oh my it had me wanting more. The pretzel was hot and soft with a nice aroma of rosemary which was baked into our dough or you have a choice of gluten free. Our three sauces consisted of cashew nacho cheese , habanero cream cheese my personal favorite) and maple mustard a close second) I couldn 't help myself each pretzel bite was dipped in a different sauce, each flavorful and unique with every bite. Our main courses definitely knocked our dining experience out of the park. I opted for the lemon grass pasta with seasonal greens, while my partner enjoyed the BBQ pineapple pizza that had quite a kick. The food was definitely aesthetically pleasing and made perfect models for my food pic 's. We both enjoy spi"

"Vincitore was a restaurant that my fiancee saw on a Facebook Mom Group page and thought we would like it. We decided to try them out since it was highly recommend by the group members. Upon arriving, we loved the small, yet elegant feeling the restaurant gave off. Although it was empty, we enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere right away. Our waiters were nice, but I felt wanting more from the customer service. It just felt flat. Don't get me wring, they all were nice, but the waiters were lacking smile and charisma... something I'd expect from the restaurant's decor style. Nevertheless, we placed our order. We started out with the calamari like most of our restaurant visits) and it was okay. The squid was tought at times and inconsistent, but iverall okay. For our entree's, my wife ordered the linguini pescatore and I ordered the cioppino. I decided to add linguini to mine since I like the pasta with it. Both dishes were great. We very much enjoyed them. I felt my dish was a bit overpriced. I say this because although, both dishes were different, they almost were very much the same dish. The flavor was different, but no so different to cost me about 6 dollars more for my added linguini. We do have to admit, their table bread is delicious. Much better than most places we have visited. We then decided to come back a week later with the family this time..I ordered the pescatore again and it was delicious once again. That can't be said for the other dishes. My fiancee ordered a mushroom pasta that was missing flavor and her mom's carbonara was not what we expected. At the end we oredered the Cannoli for dessert and for being our first ever cannoli it was not what we hoped for. The cream filling was just ok, but the shell was not edible. It was hard as a rock. We expected this light crunchy shell and we got a hard thick pastry. It just wasn't what we wanted. That said, we still enjoy this place for their good atmosphere and options. It might not be our go to place for italian food, but it's certainly a nice place to sit down and enjoy your dinner with good company. We've only been here twice and one day it was great, but the other was just okay. I'd give it about a 3.5 overall rating, but I like to give them the benefit of potentially being much better on our next visit so I'm going to give it a 4/5 stars for me."

"ASK TO SEE YOUR BILL! We had a nice dinner, and when we were ready for the check, the owner 60s, dry personality, potbellied) came to the table and said 287 do you want to split it 3 ways? . In the bustle of handing him our 3 credit cards, we didn 't really focus on the amount, and he never handed us a bill. Only after we paid did we start doing the math in our head and realized it was way too high. One of my friends went back to him and asked if there was a mistake, and he looked over the bill on his tablet and said no, it all adds up . We thought this was odd, so my other friend went back for a second time and asked for a printed copy of the bill. The owner lied and) said it wasn 't possible to retrieve it. Luckily, my friend is an experienced waiter and he knew that was a lie. The owner kept trying to come up with excuses as to why it was too late to review the bill, and finally my friend got a menu and added up all the items we ordered, and we discovered that we were overcharged by over $150. The owner finally handed us back $150 in cash, but with no apology. If you decide to eat at this restaurant, ask for a copy of the bill, or at least do the math in your head before you turn over your credit cards like we foolishly did. If he had made an honest mistake I wouldn 't be writing this review, but it appears he was intentionally trying to steal from customers. : This was disappointing because I had heard such good things about this restaurant. Perhaps it 's nicer when the owner is not waiting tables and trying to steal your money. I saw a similar review about this owner overcharging from back in 2017, so unfortunately it seems this is not anything new for this owner, and not a one off experience. Seems he 's been honing his thievery skills for several years. But we got our money back, so all 's well that ends well."
