"What an incredible experience!!! Our kids loved, loved, LOVED the Flying J Ranch. They went two shows in row and enjoyed every minute of it! I’m telling you from the second you arrive you are blessed by this immersive experience. This multi generational family owned operation has been making incredible memories for decades. Kids are already begging us to make a trip for the Christmas program. They loved the gunfight, the stories, and dinner and show. THEN the gift shops have so many cool things for kids. We just got back to Missouri and they have been practicing their new lasso skills on our dog!!! Great time!!!"

"This restaurant is quite popular, so be prepared for a wait to be seated and possibly also for your food. However, the wait is definitely worth it! Although the menu board may indicate that many items are sold out, you'll still find something delicious to enjoy. I've been craving fried catfish for months, and finding good catfish in the desert can be challenging. The steakhouse in my town, Las Cruces, offers just a small 8-ounce filet for around $16. Here, I was able to get a generous plate of catfish, served exactly as it should be, for about $12. What a treat! This is as good a local mom-and-pop restaurant as you'll find anywhere. I recommend going whenever they're open and enjoying a meal!"

"I went for lunch and ordered a half meal along with a banana nip. Instead, I was served something that looked like a banana split along with what appeared to be melted marshmallows instead of whipped cream. The four meals I received were poorly put together, and the Dr. Pepper tasted more like watered-down syrup. The only good thing was the onion rings, but when I had to return twice to get them made correctly, they ended up being cold. Overall, I had a terrible experience and won’t be eating there again. Additionally, there was a concerning issue with condensation from the air conditioning; it had caused the ceiling tiles to come loose, dripping onto the menu and into a garbage container on the floor. This place really needs to be evaluated by a health inspector."

"On our final evening in Ruidoso, we decided to check out a new restaurant, and it certainly met our expectations. I dined with my parents, aunt, and cousin, and we all enjoyed a wonderful meal together. The service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the brisket plate, which came with fries and beans. While the fries could have been cooked a little longer, the brisket and beans were exceptional. The others in our group chose spaghetti, a cheeseburger, lasagna, and a crepe, and everyone was pleased with their choices. For dessert, we shared a banana caramel chocolate crepe that was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is a bit quirky as it's situated just off the highway in a small building, but that didn't detract from our experience at all. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a lovely and relaxed dinner in Ruidoso."

Ordered taco plate ground beef, they wait 30 min to come back and tell me they're out if beef, no discount on meal considering if was something I really didn't want but didn't have many options. Waitresses need to smile be more attentive and show a little more respect when their customers coming in. Was not greeted at the door, was seated in a dark area where we eveankuay had to move. Just overall bad experience qoth this place. Hopefuy they get some better staff with a smile and nice attitude instead of being snobby."
