"We got two dishes, the lasagna which was very good and spaghetti with meat sauce. It shocked us in that the sauce was spicy hot we didnt see any red pepper, but it tasted like someone had z as very heavy hand burned our tongue and lips....we couldnt eat it. We also got garlic knots (yummy! and Nutella stuffed Zeppolis for dessert out of this world good!!! Hopefully the spaghetti was just a one time thing; weve had it before several times and enjoyed it. All in all, Johnnys is a good!"

"The menu is large and the sushi is fresh and good. The hibachi is also pretty delicious. Gyoza is standard. It’s loud and tables are crammed together so you will get to know your neighbor and their shenanigans. There’s a small outside area to eat and a sushi bar area. The service is hit or miss. It gets very busy on the weekends so go early. But the pricesIt is buy one get one but seriously they have gone up $4-$7 per roll in the last several months. Ridiculous. As Apex gets more affluent the business owners are pricing it accordingly. So y’all enjoy that."

"I had the pleasure of being welcomed by a wonderful host at Scratch, and his warmth truly set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. With his curly brunette hair and friendly demeanor, he made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. His attention to detail and thoughtful recommendations reflected the high level of service that Scratch is known for. It's rare to encounter someone who is both professional and personable in equal measure, but he did it effortlessly. A true asset to the team!"

"The Cobb salad is excellent and quite satisfying. Occasionally, they might overlook the egg or another ingredient, but it’s still delicious. The chili, however, only fills about half the container, and for nearly $7, you don’t get much—around five spoonfuls. It tastes fantastic, but the portion size feels overpriced. Overall, we've found all the food we've ordered to be very flavorful and of high quality. We also enjoy the dip and Cuban sandwiches. This is a place we frequently order from, and we really appreciate their food."

"I've been searching for a great pizza in the area since New York Pizza closed down about two years ago, and I finally found it! The pizza I ordered was DELICIOUS! I placed my order through DoorDash, and my driver was fantastic. The pizza arrived hot with a homemade crust, which is exactly how I like it. For me, a good crust can make or break an 18" cheese pizza. I also got a small garden salad on the side, and it was incredibly fresh and crispy, with delicious ranch dressing. I'm so happy to have discovered my new go-to pizza place—Big Sergio's Pizza!"

"I had a great experience at this restaurant with excellent service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning. The dining atmosphere was fantastic and the food was top-notch. I give it a 5 out of 5 for both the food and service. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo and Seafood Esplanade and Meatball Wellington. The only downside was finding parking, but there is a free parking lot available."

"Reggie was absolutely incredible! I hope I'm spelling his name right. I rarely give five-star ratings to restaurants, but Reggie won us over with his first amazing smile when he took our order. The food was fantastic! I've visited every Firehouse in the area, and this one is by far the best. The bacon was perfectly cooked, the bread was just right, and the turkey tasted incredibly fresh. My wife mentioned that the gluten-free bread here is excellent too! But it was really Reggie who made the experience special for us. Whatever he decides to do in life, I'm confident he will succeed!"

"I am a chef and this place has to be one of my most favorite places that I have visited. The best burger I have ever had. I got the spicy with fries. I also got a moonshine mule strawberry. The other two are the summer breeze and strawberry basil. The other drink is a moonjito. This place is my new favorite, hands down. YOU NEED TO COME HERE. We sampled the frozen peach moonshine. To doe for! P.S. I didn't drink all of those; I have company, lol."

"I went here based solely on all the 5 star reviews. The pics posted, all the “best sushi I’ve ever had” I was excited to try this place Soooo did someone pay for all these amazing reviews? I was shocked when the food was subpar just based on all these stars. Maybe my expectations were too high? I’m gonna go with like just, just above Harris Teeter level ‘I may regret eating this later’ grade sushi. Would not go back. Gas station sushi indeed! The service was good, the atmos cramped teeny tiny little space and the food well bad."

"This is my second time dining at The Provincial, both times with a large group of friends and both times very impressed. The menu is always changing from day to day so best to check online if you’re looking for a specific dish. Our group had a great server she was attentive without being intrusive. I really liked the array of appetizers all made fresh and tasty. The drinks were well balanced and delicious. My main dish was the hanger steak with whipped potatoes and roasted carrots. All cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly. I can’t wait for my third visit."

"The potato was lukewarm, likely because my meal was delayed. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor! I've had better quality potatoes from other locations. The Caesar wrap was just terrible. And I have a strong aversion to pickles—their smell and taste completely ruin sandwiches for me. Unfortunately, there was a gigantic pickle on that wrap! I had specifically requested for the pickles to be removed. I find that very careless, especially considering the possibility of food allergies. Overall, I was really disappointed with this meal. At least the sugar cookie was good."

"I can't assess the food since my experience was marred by the service. We visited on a Saturday and understood that the restaurant was short-staffed, but we ended up waiting over an hour for our meal. When I inquired about the wait time, the staff member informed me that it would take a bit longer after they served a couple of customers who arrived after us. We ultimately decided to leave and cancel our order. When I asked how long the kitchen had been searching for our order, it became clear that it had been lost. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We love Highway 55, but they need to improve their service."

"Really great place! The coffee itself (just an americano was sooo yummy. So good quality coffee is the biggest thing, then the atmosphere was sweet with all the trinkets and layout of tables. The service was good morning special just normal service : . The truffles. Mmm I had the Mexican hot cocoa truffle, and it was so good…. I could go on about how it made me feel but I won’t get weird. Overall, just very good food and drink : ."

"Rudy's is my favorite gathering place in the bustling town of Apex, NC. The variety, consistency, and originality of their menu choices cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences, making it a well-loved gastropub. The quality of the food reflects the care put into it by the owners, chef, and staff. They offer delicious meals at affordable prices, generous portions, and unique specialties. "40+ years of Dallas chicken and biscuit goodness in Apex. Food is literally perfect comfort. Biscuits and gravy 10 10, chicken filet biscuit 10 10, scrambled eggs and potatoes 10 10, self serve coffee from real coffee pots 10 10. And there's a drive thru! For kids there is a horse in the back that you can move and sit your toddler on at your table and eat on top of because it has a tray near the horse's head. Awesome."

"The service was excellent! The young staff members at the counter were friendly and attentive. Now, let’s talk about the food. The pizza crust and cheese were quite good, but the sauce was simply awful—it was overwhelmingly sweet. For a moment, we wondered if there had been a mistake in its preparation. We also ordered cheese bread, which was enjoyable, but the dipping sauce was terrible. We tried some chocolate chip cookies as well, but they lacked flavor. Our total bill was around $30, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning. If the sauce had been more balanced, the pizza would have been fantastic. Would I recommend Romeo's? If you enjoy sweet sauces, then yes. Otherwise, I would say no."

"Best in Western Wake County. I love my coffee and have visited some places since I was here in '97. The Wake Zone Espresso serves the best cup of coffee, has the best atmosphere and is the most friendly staff and owners in the country! (and I had no coffee yet!) And with a long shot it is the best value. If you haven't been there, you owe it to yourself. Try the happy hours! $2 Latte and Mochas. And chill as you are on the islands, man!"

"I went for a late lunch/early dinner special, specifically craving the corned beef and cabbage listed on the menu. I half-expected to hear that it was only available on Fridays, or that they were out, or to encounter one of the many excuses I've heard over the years at various restaurants. To my surprise, they not only had it but also offered a fantastic selection of beers to go with it. The meal was delicious! I can't wait to return."

"The bread alone earns this restaurant a 5-star rating! It is a charming establishment with incredibly attentive and friendly service. They can cater to both large parties and small groups. They serve delectable bread rolls with dipping oil to start. We also ordered the garlic knots and were impressed by the generous portion size for the price. The servings are quite ample! We also tried the "Pasta Your Way" option, where you can choose your preferred noodle and sauce. We opted for the spaghetti bolognese and linguini carbonara. We will definitely be returning!"
